Quanz Motor Car

I had only been living in Albuquerque two weeks when I got rear-​ended. I arbitrarily selected Quanz Auto Care for the insurance claim repair, and it turned out to be the best decision I could have made. Daniel Quanz assessed the damage quickly, explained in detail the process, and tried to do what he could to allow me to have use of my trunk prior to the repair date. My car was finished perfectly a day early, and was cleaned inside and out. I am so thrilled with the service and the results that I will be taking my car to Quantz for any and every repair it ever needs.

I had a great experience at Quanz auto care. My car was backed into and consequently the front bumper had been pushed out. Nothing major, but I was dreading going to a body shop.
I showed up to Quanz and was immediately attended to. Joe made sure I had a cup of coffee and came out to take a look at the front bumper. He said they could immediately take care of the bumper and even buff out a few minor scratches I hadn’t even noticed. He took it around back and before I could grab a second cup of coffee they had my car back to me. This was all at no charge!
Great customer service, and I will always recommend Quanz.

so from my experience please go elsewhere if u want to get bullshit excuses, never get a direct answer for the issue at hand n hear and overwhelming amount of bullshit excuses over and over and over again by all means go here if not go some where else. with me i had an insurance claim. after 2 weeks of them having my car n after taking my car back over 5 times n constantly getting bullshit excuse time after time i got tired and fed up i took it else where paid out of pocket and in one crack the third party company fixed the issue, compared to these dumb sacks of useless SHIT

I took my new truck to them because it had scratches running down the side (insurance claim) and I have used Quanz before. They were awesome in the past. I took my truck in a day early so that they «could get an early start on it». The damage was all paint and no body damage. It took them 8 business days to do what the estimate said was 23 hours of work and when I got it back it was beautiful except for 2 brand new dings the size a of quarters in the side they fixed! I pointed them out to the guy who did the estimate and he said without skipping a beat «I’ll have a paintless dent repair guy call you next week». Then he said «Lot damage». Pretty obvious that «Lot damage» occurs frequently enough that he knew exactly what to do.
Is it not really ironic that a body shop fixes damage to you vehicle and then damages it again and then sends it to another business to have it fixed? The answer is «Yes it is!». No apology by the way. Didn’t follow up the next week either. I had to call and the estimator told me to call the paintless dent repair company. Brilliant.

Great reliable service! They have fixed my family’s vehicles for years and have never billed us something other than the original quote given. This is a family-​owned and run business that values the community and it shows in their hard work. Thanks guys!

I am floored that this business got a one star rating. I had an unfortunate incident on Christmas Eve. My car was keyed by some JERK at the mall. I was beside myself. What is wrong with people? I called my insurance company, USAA, who referred me to Quanz right away. Quanz actually called me to set up the appointment. From the moment I got there, I was greeted sincerely and treated professionally. I was given a quote and had an appointment set up the next week. Ted, I think was his name, advised me he would keep me updated on a daily basis on my vehicle. As, he promised, he did. I was told that the body work would take 3 to 4 days. It was done in 2 days! I picked up my car yesterday and was greeted again with the same attitude. My car looks amazing! This company does exactly what my dad always taught me…“Under promise and over deliver!”

Last fall, I had an issue where my engine would stop after I’d started my car and made a right turn. One of my coworkers had a similar issue and it turned out to be his alternator. Since AAA only towed 5 miles, I took it to nearby Quanz. I suggested they check out the alternator. They tested it and said it looked just fine, and replaced the fuel pump instead.
Within a week, my engine again stopped during a right turn onto Coors. I called Quanz and they towed my car back to their place. Their solution was to give me a SECOND fuel pump. Everything seemed OK until I needed to fill up with gas later that week. The gas leaked straight onto the ground and needed to be cleaned up by the gas station, while my car again got towed to Quanz. They stated one of their mechanics had forgotten to install one of the seals. They replaced the fuel pump (pump #3 now) and added the seal, and this time even tried to charge me for the seal they had previously forgotten!
After the 3^rd fuel pump, the problem came back. I instead took it to Jiffy Lube and had them check the alternator (my first hunch and initial request to Quanz). Their test showed a bad alternator, they replaced it, and I no longer had any problems. Magic! If only Quanz’s test had properly shown my bad alternator.
To top it off, a couple of months later I went to fill my tank with gas, and the hole to insert the gas nozzle had actually shifted underneath the body of my car to the point I was unable to insert the nozzle & fill up. Ridiculous, and most certainly related to the 3 bad fuel pump replacements by Quanz.
I had to take my car to them 3 times and they still really messed up my car, whereas Jiffy Lube surprisingly got it right on the first go. While the customer service was nice and everyone was very pleasant, I would definitely NOT recommend Quanz.
