Established in 1929.

Pony Express Custom Hair has been a family business since 1929,

evolving from family of Master Wigmakers, some being involved in the business as early as the 1800’s.

Linda Jo, owner of Pony Express Custom Hair, Abq, NM, learned the trade from her Grandmother. Linda spent summers as a child, in her Grandmothers Hair Shoppe, learning the trade and enjoying every minute of it! Linda learned at a very young age, that the QUALITY of the hair is critical to any and all hair addition solutions. The hair texture, color, and cuticle density blending is also critical to insure a seamless, undetectable result.

Pony Express Custom Hair uses only the finest (cuticle intact) European, Italian, Russian and Brazilian blends, also in certain situations, Indian Temple hair is also used.

Linda blends the hair herself… to ensure a superior, perfect result for her clients. Our work is customized to the individual client’s specific situation.
