Gardening in Albuquerque has been our passion for over the past 30 years. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find flowers, trees, xeriscape plants, houseplants and more for your home & garden.
I selected Joe to create a landscape design for my yard. His work far exceeded my expectations. He listened closely to what I wanted and created a design that will turn my home into an oasis. I was on the fence about shelling out money for a landscaping plan, but I am certainly glad that i did. Thanks Joe!

What a great way to spend some time in the afternoon. Osuna Nursery is huge place. The wife and I had plans in our head as to what we wanted for our landscaping, but changed our minds when we saw the huge offerings here. Nice HEALTHY plants here not the withered plants from the Big Box Shop Home Improvement stores. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Is this place a plant shopping experience? Absolutely. However, I bought 4 very small 4 inch potted plants and it was 25 bucks! Wow! For that price I better be getting a cold beer at the front door! So we decided as we walked out the door to return the plants just on principle. As we went back to the counter, a woman encountered us and we explained our point to her. In a very rude manner, she took us to the counter where we bought the plants and she very loudly said to the guy, «can you void this? these people don’t like our prices». Let me say, I have bought things here before, I probably would have come back another time but after that encounter, forget it… note to the owner of this establishment and customer service training 101, the customer is always right… even if they are wrong, it’s how you handle the situation.

After being disappointed with Home Depot’s plant selection, we decided to make the trip to Osuna Nursery. What a fun way to spend an hour on a Friday afternoon! So many great plants, flowers and trees to browse. Seriously, we had fun just looking at all the cool plants. Yes, my bf and I can be a bit dorky. And the staff was friendly and ready to answer questions with a smile. The only bad thing about this nursery is that I went looking to get only a few succulents(nice selection!), but also left with a tiny African violet, a cycas king sago palm and some Brussels sprouts! I haven’t been to other nurseries in town as I’m just getting into plants, so I can’t really compare it. But I had fun looking at the large selection(I’m sure come Spring the selection will double) and the plants I brought home all look healthy… and hopefully I can keep them that way!

This nursery is large(I read that it’s 6 acres!!) and well-stocked with a great variety of healthy, beautiful plants. There is a lot to see here, and they seem to have anything you could want — a wide range of seeds, gardening tools and supplies, houseplants, lawn seed(just the organic seed with no fertilizers — this is hard to find and they have it at a great price!), many different kinds of fertilizers, herbs, veggie starts, pots and planters ranging from a very inexpensive biodegradable bamboo range to incredible large pieces of pottery(not as inexpensive, but lovely), an amazing variety of flowers, and a forest worth of trees. They even have a great selection of hummingbird feeders! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me find everything I was looking for — at about ½ the price I expected to pay. It’s a lovely place to just wander around, surrounded by beautiful plants, and dream about all the possibilities and things I want in my yard. I’ll probably be back every weekend this summer!

I bought a large indoor ficus tree from here 10 years ago, and it’s still going strong!(And no, I don’t have a green thumb. I have plenty of dead plants as evidence) When I purchased my first home I bought several fruit trees which all flourished till I sold the home. If you like plants, this is the place to purchase it from. They have been acclimated to Albuquerque’s high elevation and low humidity.
