I live in this neighborhood(for over 14 years) and we walk here periodically. I give two stars because over the years some poor planning and bad experiences have happened to us here. Laying in the grass and getting a rash from the flowering stuff that also exists in the grass prompted me to write this review. This park has become a tennis facility with inadequate parking that now charges to use what was once free tennis courts. The north side of trail that surrounds the park is creepy in the early morning and dusk hours and is frequented by transients. A few years back my wife and I were accosted on the pedestrian interstate walk /ride over path, it was not a pleasant experience. The park has several spots along the trail that flood during storms making the walking path partially inaccessible until the mud dries. The city has known about this for years but has made no effort to fix the issue. Now they’ve put a black metal fence in front of the play ground area to placate some of the elderly folks ‘safety for the children’ concerns, man just what we need another fence. I’m not sure why but the soccer /rugby folks seem to have vacated after the changes. There’s plenty of good recreational uses of this park but the planning and execution over the years ended up not being the best. It’s tough to write a ho-hum about your neighborhood park, a shout out to the City of Albuquerque, thanks for putting gray paint over the beautiful street art in the arroyo. North Domingo Baca Park seems to have captured what the residents and representatives of district 7 couldn’t with Jerry Cline Park.

Best tennis courts in the city. Much better layout than UNMs courts.

We live very far from this park, but we love to meet our friends and their kids here. The play scape is nice and shaded in some parts for those hot summers. The running trail and tennis courts are also a favorite for me. There are plenty of nice trees that give off shade for a picnic or a nap. So bring a blanket and your picnic basket and have fun watching your kids play.

This is a great park. Fields for soccer and football. A playground with wonderful equipment. Rolling hills and beautiful trees. A winding path that wanders all the way around the park. Tennis courts(18 Hard courts) and a gorgeous new Tennis Facilities building. A pedestrian underpass connects this park to the Tom Bolack Urban Forest and Dog Park on the west side of Louisiana. All-in-all, a great facility.
