I graduated from UNM with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 and a graduate from CNM with an A.S. in Electronics Technology in 2004. As an Engineer, I was former electrical system designer at Honda Research & Development in Ohio. At iRepairs Wireless, all repair services are personally handled or supervised by Me. So, your device is in good professional hands. To improve our repair service quality, I required all of our technicians to perform a functionality check before and after services. Great place. I’d called another place up on east side paseo del norte and they didn’t even seem to want to talk to me on the phone much less fix my item, so I got on Unilocal.This place had great reviews, so I drove all the way over there even though I live in the east mountains. Was not disappointed. Very pleasant demeanors, very helpful. Very professional young people. Right away told me that the cost of replacing the screen for my item might not be the way to go because the cost of the item itself brand new would comparable. I looked it up online and deals for my item made it very easy to replace. So unfortunately I was not able to give them my business but happily recommend, it’s worth driving over there from other parts of town if you need something fixed.

This review is way overdue! But it is nonetheless still relevant! Let me take it back to September of 2015, where on my birthday, I had dropped my iPad mini. This time was the last time apparently that I was able to drop it and my screen shattered and left me speechless. Being super frustrated, I contacted my friends and saw what places they recommenced back in New Mexico because that was where I was going to be in a couple months. They recommended this location and I made an appointment when I got there.
iRepairs Wireless got me in and was finished with my iPad at the end of the day. They were apparently backed up that day so I wasn’t able to get it within 2 hours or whatever they had told me. I was slightly bothered because I was not sure when they were going to be done so I spent my day driving around the West Side. But nonetheless it was finished and I was happy with the result. But what I appreciated about their business is the fact that when I had brought my iPad back with me to Omaha, the screen began to lift. It worried me and I contacted them and they told me they could fix that with no charge when I got back to New Mexico. When I got back again, they fixed it with no charge as they promised and me being super picky noticed some lint which is the best way I could describe it on the screen and they took care of it immediately!
That in my eyes is a good business. They dealt with my extreme pickiness and they did it in a timely manner. They were professional and I appreciated it that. They are definitely the guys to go to if you have cracked screens! Also if you check in on Unilocal,I believe they still may have discounts for Unilocalers.

This place turned out to be a lifesaver today! I dropped my phone, screen down, on gravel and it did a nice splinter effect across the screen. Needless to say, I needed something done quick! I did a little Google search and then Unilocal and saw the reviews here. It was ready in an hour and a half the same day! They also have military discounts and a Unilocal check-​in discount! I highly recommend these folks!

She’s five years old and her grandmother, in Manhattan, is on the phone. «I want to say hi to Nanny,» she says. I hesitate for, oh, about half a second. The phone arrived two days ago, it’s a rarity on the wireless market, a Sony Xperia, the entire thing is made of glass. I haven’t had time to fit it in a protective skin or layer the screen, but I figure hey, just this once. She needs to talk to Nanny. And so she does, walking alongside me, laughing, reconnecting, telling stories. As a fly on the wall I’m enjoying this, and eventually the conversation ends, and she knows how to hit the button that says End Call. And I reach down to retrieve the phone. And you know exactly what’s coming.
She drops it.
The back cover is shattered. Running a pointer finger along the spine a splinter of glass gets lodged in my skin, I dig it out with my teeth. Dammit, I curse myself. Other People do this. I don’t. Whelp, this totally sucks. How much will this cost to fix? A hundred bucks easy, right? Where should I go? Guess I should Unilocal it.
iRepairs came up as the highest rated business in Albuquerque. I read the reviews, noticed they had a check-​in deal, and so I checked ‘em out. They didn’t have a replacement plate, but they estimated a $ 50 repair once the part arrived. One week later they called, the plate arrived. I dropped off the phone and in less than an hour it looked brand spankin’ new. I got $ 5 off the bill by checking in to the business. The moral of the story: don’t let your kid hold your phone. Okay, so that isn’t really a moral. But just don’t do it. And if you do, go to iRepairs. They’re cheap, efficient and top rated because they know what they’re doing.

This may be a long overdue review that was meant to be written a long time ago, but I never got the chance to do so.
I had dropped my Samsung Galaxy S3 twice (when I still had the phone, at the time) & my screen was completely shattered. I took it to them & they made it look like new! The techs there are really friendly & they appreciate your business. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for a reasonable price on getting their phone (s) fixed!

I must love this place, Unilocal lost my text so I’m writing this again. I am self employed and my Note 4 is my link to clients when I’m not at my studio. My work is fast turn around type creative. These guys fixed my broken screen and LCD in short order. Fast, very fast. I live about 40 miles away and would/​will go back again if I ever need this type of service again. The quality of the work, the price, and the attitude were awesome. As good as it gets IMHO.

Same experience as Sophia G. Repair was done poorly and screen was broken just two days after the repair was completed. They would not honor the warranty. Shoddy work, worse customer service and a fraudulent warranty. Do not use these thieves.

My fiancé an I went to go get her Note 3 screen replaced. This place was $ 30 cheaper than any other place we were quoted. Service was great and the phone was done in the time frame they gave us. They also made us a good deal for a tempered screen protector for both of our phones. I will highly recommend this business to all of my friends. I just wish they sold used phones so I could have bought for my both of my kids.

Left my cracked cell phone there for an hour for them to fix. I looked in my phone history before I dropped it off, so I knew the last page I was on because they needed my password. I come back to see that they looked through my pictures, messages, ect. They must of put my screen on not so good also because one morning when I woke up, there was a line (crack) across my phone, that I did not do, and they won’t even fix it.

I dropped my iPad a couple of days ago and broke the glass. I considered the main options, which are a) do it yourself, b) send it to a mail order place, or c) take it a local place, I chose c). I shied away from doing myself after reading some personal accounts, and I did not want to wait for it to be mailed to and from some far off place. I think I made the right decision. As for doing it myself, the corner of the iPad was damaged, and it would have been very difficult for me to fix that. And I use the iPad every day, and wanted to get it fixed quickly. iRepairs did a first rate job, they are very professional and polite, and they were excellent at communicating what was going on. They are not the cheapest, but I think it is a case of getting what you pay for. It may also sound like a small thing, but their space is very neat and well organized. This is not some guy in his basement. It is a very professionally run small business. I would definitely use them again.

These guys are amazing techs, First thing is that the phone was fixed faster than they told me. The price to fix the screen and digitizer on LG G3 was $ 180 which is about the going rate. The customer service was also amazing everyone was very nice and wanting to help. The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars, after they fixed my screen I had them throw on tempered glass cover which I didn’t buy from them and they charged me $ 5. I took the gentleman 30 seconds to put it on, it would have been nice to put it on as a courtesy. I would go back again!!!

This place has been awesome getting repairs made. Very helpful, very fast and high quality repairs at great prices. I have had several phones worked on here and only one I had to take back. When I took the phone back they honored the warranty without question. Only place in Albuquerque I have found that I would recommend.

I finally did it. I dropped my iPad and smashed the glass. The iPad worked fine but only if you didn’t mind glass cuts. I had noticed iRepairs had opened up near the Starbucks in the Smith’s shopping center near Paseo & Golf Course and went there.
I was met by the proprietor and given an immediate estimate. $ 129 and one and a half hour later, my iPad was as good as new.
It’s a family business and customer service seems to be their thing. They are knowledgable and friendly. Definitely a go to place.

Rating for customer service in extraordinary circumstance.
Though this shop isn’t officially open, yet, the owner kindly and attentively helped me when I got through to him on an out-​of-​date Craigslist ad. The ad omitted that the opening of the shop still was a couple of weeks away! I called him, and he met me at his shop. The battery of an old iphone 3Gs — which was not holding a charge — had basically exploded in its casing, and he changed it quickly and charged it up for me while I went to lunch. He was amiable and nice to chat with while I waited.
Sadly, the phone isn’t working well, but it may be too old to try anything else. But the experience of getting the phone looked at was as good as could have been expected.
