I had stayed here before for one night about 2 years ago and that time was nice, but this time was great. We got a great deal that allowed us to pay for 2 nights and get the third night free. That same deal included breakfast. The room was nice and spacious and the cleaning lady was very efficient. Although, I would say that it’s really annoying that on the morning you are scheduled to checkout housekeeping comes super early knocking on your door. I know, I get it. I’m supposed to checkout at a particular time, but that time is not 9AM! So that wasn’t cool. When we decided to order room service and since my boyfriend was on a strict diet, the kitchen was extremely accommodating in providing him chicken and steak made specifically as asked. There was some confusion on the last morning when we finally went to eat at the buffet, the server and manager did not know what deal we were speaking of and said that we had to pay for our meals. We were not happy about that, but when we went to checkout the lady at the front desk remembered our deal and cleared ALL of breakfast charges from the weekend! Wow, we were really impressed by that. Amenities were pretty great! The pool and the weight room were awesome. Even has a posing area in the weight room(for you body builder types). The location was seemed to be Prime for us being close to downtown and accessible to I-25. The restaurant downstairs was a delicious and a fun way to finish off the night. Try the Mac and Cheese!

I’ve stayed at many levels of hotels in many cities in many countries. Never once did I have a day where the maids forgot to make up my room — until touching down this Hyatt — one that puts the rest of the fine-enough chain to shame. –Terrible daily maid service(coming at 8pm if at all?) –They screwed up my laundry –Halls full of room service trays that seemed to be permanent fixtures And more. Is good help hard to find or are these people just a bunch of jokers? On the street level is their restaurant McGraths. It’s a nice very quality restaurant(especially for the area) with a nice bar but that saving grace isn’t enough to bring me back here under any circumstance. I realize ABQ isn’t loaded with multiple-star hotel options but I’d rather stay at a Courtyard Marriott than here any day. _C$

The Hyatt is in a downtown area near the courthouses, multiple bail bondsmen, detention area, etc. There are a few bars and places to eat in the vicinity. $ 10 for in-and-out parking ½ block away. Front desk staff was very helpful. Why does the ample lobby and surrounding shop area smell like fart? And the elevator like Shalimar perfume? So happy we booked this for $ 89 on The dude in front of us trying to hustle a suite paid $ 129 for the same style room– suckah!!!
