Business Owner

Rod Williams is the owner of Horizon Auto Glass & Tint, along with his wife, Laura. He has been in the auto glass industry since 1989 in Southern California. Since moving to Albuquerque in 1993, Rod has been certified as a NGA (National Glass Association) Master Technician, is an AGSC certified technician and sits on the national PGW Prostars Council. Rod is also a state certified Continuing Education Instructor for the auto glass industry in New Mexico and teaches instructional classes for the insurance industry.

I got my windows tinted here based off of previous Unilocal reviews. Very pleased with service – nice people on the phone both times I called as well as when I went in. They estimated it would take 4 – 5 hours but to my surprise they called to say it was done in 2. Overall great experience and will definitely go back if I ever need any other services they offer!

My rear windshield was shattered and I needed the job done before the weekend was out. Horizon was able to fit me in, they were reasonably priced and beat some of the competition, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I was going to get the window tinted where I had originally gotten the tint done but their price was better and the end result looks great and professional. I will definitely recommend their services to anyone who asks.

Don’t go to these people to cover a «ding» in your windshield.
They did such a poor job that in a few days in started with a little crack. Now it is a full blown crack across the the windshield.
They said that we signed a release… So I guess that covers their butt but leaves the customer high and dry.
DO MOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE RIP-​OFFS!!!

I called ahead to get pricing information. I was greeted professionally and courteously. I needed windshield tint for my F150. $ 25 + tax which included installation! I made an app’t and received answers to my questions and concerns prior to the work being done. My tech worked around my issues in the front seat w/​o batting an eye. The entire crew has a «we can do that» attitude. The store is clean and has comfortable chairs if you need to wait. My truck was immaculate following the installation… spit-​shined windshield! Customer service at its best…

Extremely nice and helpful staff. I’ve had two chips repaired at very little cost and in under 30 minutes. The waiting room has coffee, water, and free wifi while you wait. I hope I don’t have to be back, but I know where to call if I need anything else fixed.

I highly, highly recommend. My Honda’s front, passenger-​side window inexplicably shattered late last night in a drive-​thru (it was not shot out, busted out, etc). Horizon had the replacement glass in stock and was able to take my car 12 hours later. They completed the work in 1.5 hours this morning for nearly HALF the price ($ 173 incl. tax) of what Safelite was going to charge me ($ 303 + tax). Not to mention Safelite wasn’t able to do the work for more than a WEEK. «Put plastic over the window,» Safelite corporate scheduling guy said. Uh, no.
Garcia Honda did not have the glass either, but I learned Horizon handles much of their glass work anyway. So, lesson learned: skip the middle man.
God forbid I lose another window, I’ll be returning to Horizon without hesitation.

My car’s rear windshield was shattered and I don’t have the best of insurance. So I called around town getting quotes for a replacement. After my first quote (which came in at $ 700!!!) I was feeling distraught. I called Horizon Auto Glass and spoke with Jeff. He was incredibly helpful and the quote he gave me was much, much less than $ 700. I was able to set up an appointment for 2 days later.
Horizon has a mobile glass replacement service for an additional $ 20 (worth every penny). The tech arrived promptly and replaced my window quickly and even vacuumed out all the glass.
I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received and would happily recommend Horizon Glass to my friends and family.

I just dropped off my car and so far the people have been nothing but friendly! They explain all the options, took her time, felt appreciated! Lexas is the girl who appreciates her job and the company has it set up to show all these different options. I have been to a lot of other tinting places and this is the best so far. I will up date once the car is done.

This place was recommended by a friend who has been taking cars there for years.
I have a Chevy Volt and they applied to the tint to all the windows and the huge rear window on the hatchback/​trunk.
I was very impressed with the amount of choices you could make on the particular type/​color of tint.
The work was completed within the time quoted, the car looked great (there was no mess) and I am very happy with how the Volt looks.
I am planning on heading back with my 350Z as I am so happy with the initial work they did.
