At the Hilltop we have been designing and building the perfect view since 1970. Founded by renowned landscape architect Jim DeFlon and Jim Forrester (who added crucial knowledge of landscape construction), the company is New Mexico’s oldest and largest design-​build firm.

We recently bought a house and needed the back yard landscaped. We decided to use The Hilltop since they do the front yards for the builder and because EVERYONE we talked to said that they are the best in town. Jim Forrester came out to look at the yard (at that point only dirt) and to talk to us about what we wanted. We gave him our list of «wants» but did not give him a specific budget to work with because we wanted to see what he came up with. After reviewing Jim’s initial design (which was not shockingly high but a little above our budget), we met with him again and reached an agreement on something more within our budget.
We could not be happier with the final product. The attention to detail in the design and the quality of workmanship by the installers is impressive.
I would recommend The Hilltop to anyone with a landscaping project.

Hilltop did a great job on the landscaping for our new home. Our backyard was transformed from a steep hill with dirt and weeds to something beautiful to enjoy.
