History

Established in 1982.

Started by John Highfill in the early 80’s High Desert Iron has been a vital part of providing custom iron work throughout Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Specializing in spiral stairs, custom fencing and gates the business has retained many of its employee’s and turned over ownership in 2013 but Arthur Ahren Edelhoff. Today we are keeping the old values but adding technology and some new energy to the business. Arthur has been in the industry for 15 years and specialized in automatic gates and automation systems. Although that was his specialty he started as a fabricator so this territory is not new. Stop in and see what they are up too.

Business Owner

Involved in the residential and commercial entry gates industry with 15 plus years of service. My experiences allow me to take a project from conception through design and follow until completion and servicing. My eye for perfection is reflected in my work.

My goals are to increase the accessibility and visibility to high end residential and commercial products to the consumer. Educated them on the options that are available and offer an easy way to collect and find out more about the products they are interested in purchasing.
