I have been a patient at this place for two years. Every time you have to wait for an hour or more to see your doctor for just five minutes. I was concerned about my eyes feeling a little dry with the new contacts. The provider recommended an over the counter drops … ANDSUBMITTED A CLAIMTOMYMEDICALINSURANCE… on top of the charges to my vision insurance. Just for asking her a question about contacts SHE prescribed to me. Just don’t forget to take at least half a day off work to go see a provider for a regular exam, because this is how long it takes.

They cold call asking about an issue with your insurance! Beware! Do not trust these people. When I called back they said that no one from that office had called me even though it was the same number that allied me and the number they left on voicemail !

It is really hard to find a good optometrist in town when there are so many. I was lucky when I met Dr. Hands from Eyes of New Mexico last year. The staff is incredibly caring and when you do not have eye insurance, they do their best in making the best arrangement for you. They also was prompt to let me know that for my annual eye exam, the insurance did not cover it this year, so I had time to figure out what to do. If you order contacts, they will even ship it to your house. I have never been to a place where the hassle is minimal and the service is awesome.

First, my visit lasted for 2.5 hours(absolutely ridiculous for a annual exam). The Doctor asked me the same questions over and over. It’s like she wasn’t listening to a word I said. I left the office without a pair of glasses, because their selection was dated and limited. The staff seemed miserable. I wouldn’t say they were unfriendly, but the tone in the office lacked any emotion or enthusiasm. Very robotic. I highly recommend you go elsewhere.
