Environmental Dynamics, Inc. is an architecture firm dedicated to transforming how people think about the places where they live, work, play and learn. At edi we incorporate a sustainable design approach into all our projects with the end goal of designing structures that give back more than they consume. From edi’s inception, sustainable design has been the foundation of our work. A recognized leader in ecologically appropriate architecture, edi believes in working collaboratively to maximize positive impact to our climate and our communities. At edi you will find a diverse group of individuals unified by a common goal of going beyond what is ordinary. For us, every project is a chance to put our principles into practice. Every day presents an opportunity to define what it means to be green.
History
Established in 2000.

Since then, we have been instrumental in developing the green building movement in the southeastern and southwestern United States and Cayman Islands. Assessing a site’s unique character & integrating distinctive design that maximizes potential is just the beginning for Kent Beierle, an innovative architect based in New Mexico. Through regenerative design principles, Kent guides his clients in a process of understanding their environment, needs and a sustainable lifestyle. Satisfaction for Kent is achieved when he and his client create a project that actively engages the environment and contributes to a harmonious synthesis of the built and natural world.
Kent’s desire to work with colleagues who shared his ecologic values led him to co-found edi, a boutique sustainability architecture and consulting firm located in Albuquerque.
