Élan Academy is a 3,400 square foot school located at 1600 Eubank Blvd. N E, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87 112. Our school features the latest educational curricula, equipment, learning tools and modern clinic area for cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, and nails. Élan Academy has fifteen stations, three shampoo wash units, three manicure and two pedicure stations, and a two bed esthetics room.

You can expect hands-​on learning experience with individual and small group instruction.

History

Established in 2009.

We have been in the Albuquerque area for over 7 years as a cosmetology school. The owners of the Academy have over 40 years of experience in the business and apply a training concept that allows students to learn different methods of cutting and coloring.

Business Owner

I am a native to New Mexico. I graduated from Rio Grande High School in 1975 and went to the University of New Mexico where I finished with a degree in business management.

I opened Élan Academy with my business partner Estevan Apodaca in 2009. It was always Estevan’s dream to have a school, so we decided to open Élan Academy of Cosmetology and Barbering.

Estevan has been in the business for over 32 years and has worked for the beauty industry companies such as Wella, Patrice Beaute, Ferouk and now Keratin Complex.

We are partners with several large corporate businesses such as Keratin Complex, Farouk, Patrice Beaute, OPI and Dermalogica. We take pride in our ability to provide the highest quality of learning.
