Specialties
Although new to the Albuquerque area, I have been in private practice as a clinical psychologist in Austin for the past 20 years. Services that I provide include: psychological testing & assessment; psychotherapy for adults, adolescents & families; forensic evaluation for persons facing criminal charges, licensing boards, or for civil litigation; and consultation to professionals such as attorneys and business owners who want help dealing with clients or employees. Areas of expertise and special interest include: eating disorders, addictions, personality disorders, adult children of dysfunctional families, and persons involved in all kinds of litigation. In addition, I have a special interest in both the assessment and treatment of young adults who are experiencing a «failure to launch» into adulthood and who feel «stuck» in their lives…
History
Established in 1993.
I was in private practice in Austin until 2012 when I moved to Albuquerque to enjoy the great weather & hiking. I still work with clients from Texas via internet, but now have both a clinical and forensic practice here.

Dusty L. H.
Business Owner
I trained as a clinical psychologist at Northwestern University in Chicago and then moved back to Austin (where I had received my degree in Social Work). After 3 years in a medical/mental health practice, I joined 3 colleagues and we created West End Psychological Associates (WEPA). I worked at WEPA from 1993 until 2012 when I made the move to NM. My specialties are difficult to treat mental health disorders: eating disorders; substance abuse; personality disorders (Borderline PD & Narcissistic PD); and young adults who are experiencing a «failure to launch» into full adulthood.
