Damian Velasquez designs and builds custom modern furniture for home, office and outdoor. His modern furniture line includes beds, dressers, nightstands, occasional tables, dining tables and chairs, counter stools and bar stools, desks, shelving, media cabinets and much more. Each piece is designed and handcrafted in his Albuquerque furniture studio.

Most furniture pieces can be customized to fit color and size dimensions to fit your space exactly. The furniture is constructed of powder coated steel, richly hued wood and the highest quality components and hardware.

History

Established in 1990.

Damian Velasquez founded his furniture studio in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1990, offering a small collection of steel beds and tables to local stores and clients. Self-​taught in the processes used to produce his designs (metalworking, powder coating, woodworking, staining, and assembling objects), his designs evolved from the stark, geometric, all-​steel forms to singular pieces that combine steel, wood and other materials.

Damian’s elegant furniture derives from his own personal style, a signature that reflects his history, environment and passion for working with his hands. Refined and innovative, his work emanates a crisp, classic style informed by his interest in mid-​century design and balanced by his own manipulation of materials.
