Cravin’ Cookies & More

Oh my word… I am eating a molasses cookie as I type this, I apologize for any misspellings or errors you find — this cookie is so good it is disorienting. Amazing, simply amazing.
If you read some of my other reviews, you will know that I am a bit of a cookie connoisseur. I eat a lot of cookies and I will pay a premium price for a delicious cookie. We had the pleasure of meeting Barb at our five year old daughter friend’s party where she served her amazing cookies fresh out of the oven. Ever since that day, our family has been hooked. We have frequented Cravin’ Cookies & More several times a month since.
We have yet to have a cookie that wasn’t absolutely delicious. Today, we picked up some oatmeal chocolate chip cookies (this was a first for us) and they were… as you could probably expect… delicious. Of course, nothing will replace my absolute favorite — the iced molasses cookie. Seriously, you cannot go wrong at this place. Pick up a dozen of… whatever…and you will be completely satisfied.
Do yourself a favor, try this place. You might develop diabetes in the next few months, but it will be worth, I promise!

Barb is awesome and hooked me up with cookies and treats for my customers. If you get up that way, stop in!

If you are in Albuquerque you HAVE to go to cravin cookies! They have a selection of local handcrafted items for sale and for decoration to entertain you while you sip coffee and devour some red chili chocolate or lavendar shortbread or perhaps a delectable brownie or truffle. It helps that the place feels like home, the owner and staff are friendly and the sense that you’ve discovered a hidden treasure will leave you with a secret grin all day long!

This place is amazing! It is a must go! The ladies in there are so sweet! And their cookies are so good! And there also was a very nice man there who bought my cookies for me. It was very sweet. Made my day!(: Go check it out!

Cravin’ Cookies was primarily a coffee place for me when I lived across the river in Rio Rancho, because they brew the same coffee as they do down the street at Sophia’s Place. It’s the best coffee around. Whenever I was there, I sampled the cookies too. The molasses cookies are better than any homemade ones I’ve ever had. I ended up buying them all of the time. Nice owners and staff. Clean and cozy place. And overall, this end of 4^th Street is my favorite area of Albuquerque.

You can call me a cookie scientist. I try and search for the gold standard in each new city I go to. While visiting family in Albuquerque I searched out this little establishment.
Located in a kind of shabby part of town my hopes were relatively low. This place however has some heart. The baker is a sweetheart and the store is filled with local art. Instant karma! My favorite is chocolate chip and I usually prefer the soft baked variety, but Cravin’ Cookies shortbread type are quite good.
Grab yourself some frosty cold milk and enjoy. Support local businesses and support this shop so it’s alive and kicking when I return to The Land of Enchantment.
