History

Established in 1998.

Starting out in a one room facility, Center For Hypnosis grew into a 1,250 square foot facility at 2420 Juan Tabo in Albuquerque, NM. Lois closed the brick and mortar business in March 2011 to retire. Currently she is mentoring students interested in professional hypnotherapy training and also works with referrals from physicians, hospitals and former clients. New clients must first interview with Lois prior to working with her.

Lois Prinz is a 1971graduate of Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois majoring in Psychology and Education. After losing over 90 pounds using hypnosis, Lois became interested in becoming a professional hypnotherapist. Her background in hypnosis, counseling and physical fitness trainer propelled her to becoming one of the most sought after weight loss experts in Chicagoland during the 80s and 90s. She started Slimmers Exercise and Wellness Groups in Naples and Ft. Myers Florida as a counseling hypnotherapist before moving to Albuquerque, NM in 1997 and in 1998 opened the Center For Hypnosis & Wellness where she continued to work until 2011. Ms. Prinz has hosted a Florida radio show, appeared on BBC television, numerous news shows and recently annotated a hypnosis book with Dr. Emmett Miller, MD.
