B&B(formerly Dahn Yoga) has helped me change my lifestyle from couch potato to healthy, fit and happy! I look forward to going there and feel refreshed when I leave. Do yourself a favor– you deserve it– and try it out. It is unlike anything else you have tried. All the Masters are caring professionals who can help you achieve your goals. Namaste.

This Body & Brain Center is very welcoming and encompasses a feeling of healing and nurture. I was lucky enough to participate in a special Liver Detox retreat held at this center. It was a new experience for me, one of which I learned so much from our instructors and the other participants. It was challenging for me to complete, but afterwards I felt wonderful. I have fond memories of the experience and would do it again in a heart beat. I have done this same cleanse on my own at home, but I am unable to replicate the full experience of movement, meditation and special guidance. Perhaps I’m also missing the strength and positive energy of the trainers who work there. Their will and hearts give strength and support.

I havE visited and participated in Body & Brain training. I have been practicing their body tapping and intestinal exercises and they are fantastic. The coaches are very skilled and professional. I find their training to be very theraputic for both mind and body. I recommend Body & Brain to anyone seeking a well rounded training system. Kortni

I have attended classes at this studio for several years now and I really enjoy it. Every class has stretching, meditation and breathing exercises. They focus on energy. It’s become my «go-to» method for getting out of my head. I find the instructors are very knowledgeable. This approach has helped me deepen my sleep pattern and restore my joint flexibility.

Who are these loons giving Dahn Yoga bad reviews? I’ve been about a dozen times and enjoyed each visit. I love how friendly everyone at the studio is, making me feel welcome even though I was there through a discounted Groupon rate. Now that my pass is nearly expired, I plan to sign up the next time they have an enrollment sale.

Loooooooooooove it!!! The instructors take time to give you information about your body in totality. I knew that your body can heal itself, and they reminded me that I am in control of it all. The instructors take the time to show you proper body mechanics so that you are engaging your mind and your body. This is more than just a work out it is holistic therapy, duh hence the name. I left feeling complete. There are late night classes which is great for the working stiff such as myself. And they are patient with newcomers such as myself hee hee hee. Teatime after yoga is also a plus. Breathing is so essential. And the philosophy, I learned your belly is your second brain & that it can be stronger than your first brain. Additionally, if you can control your core you can channel energy to other parts of your body… This class was phenomenal!!!

Oh how I hope that the power of Unilocal will help even one person not join the cult of Dahn Yoga. I began with a free aura reading at the local health fair and a pass for a free one-on-one energy session with the yoga master. She admittedly was able to gauge my physical and mental shortcomings, including insomnia. I slept very well that evening, even though I had just forked over nearly $ 3000 for a year of unlimited yoga(including a few other extras.) So, now the yoga… I had done a decent amount of traditional yoga over the years and was looking forward to the stretch, the calm, the centering. If this is what you are looking for also, I assure you this is NOT it. But I thought I’d give it a go. There were lots of jumping and tapping and vocal bits. It wasn’t yoga per se, but I felt like it was sort of «energy work» and I was more relaxed, less anxious, and sleeping better. Weird things: there was a «cleansing exercise» that was the class cleaning the floor with hand towels. Uhm. I’m paying to clean their floors. Also, at the end of every class, you have to talk about how the jumping and chanting and hitting yourself is helping you. It’s very AA-like. Then their was the tea. While tasty, I wonder what the hell was in it that made me so stupid and trusting. Note: don’t drink the Kool-Aid(and I mean in THAT way). The money/cult part. So during the private session at the very beginning, I was highly pressured into signing up for the year package even though I couldn’t afford it. This included purchasing the uniform. Folks that just bought a monthly pass and no uniform were treated as outsiders. So this is supposedly«all you need» to «change your life» and«show that you care about your health». Then after about two-three months I was invited to go to small-group VIP trainings and then invited to the almighty weekend retreat in Sedona to learn to be a teacher. At the same time being lured into more private one-hour sessions that were $ 300 each.(The training in Sedona I believe was nearly $ 20,000). They manipulate you into thinking you don’t care about yourself or your health to get your money. It’s the hardest sell I’ve ever seen. In conclusion, it’s a damn shame that the instructors are overworked(work 70 – 80 hours and only paid for 40) and that the number one goal is ONLYMONEY. The practice itself is weird but semi-effective in many ways. Before you join, please google all of the information about them you can. Also look into the Moonie cult — very similar. I managed to get out only a few thousand dollars in and my sanity intact.

It is hard to write an honest review for this place without being too harsh… I think that the place had really good intentions and for some people it might be a perfect fit. But for me… not so much. I have taken yoga classes at a lot of different places and they are pretty similar but with varying degrees of difficulty etc. The class I took here was completely different. I barely broke a sweat because we spent so much time doing some silly and pointless exercises like slapping ourselves all over. Seriously. I think that opposed to a fitness and body focus this might some kind of spiritual place. We spent well over 30 minutes in the dark on our backs just meditating on the instructors whimsy. The kicker was at the end when we did«cleaning mediation» which basically was us cleaning the floors with hand towels. Yeah I am not making this up.
