Not what it used to be. Ho hum at best and with so many other places — Whataburger, etc — there is little reason to search out Blakes Lota Burger. That said the burgers are ok. Add cheese and green chili for good combo. Fries are thicker cut but not dependable.

Never answer the phone for orders. My wife called and they said hold on and left her on the phone and did not pick it up again. This place is joke and nobody should go there. Worst service anyone could expect.

A ho hum review for a ho hum burger. I am not impressed but my husband L-O-V-E loves this place. He’s a native New Mexican so I think that is part of the reason. It’s a state staple I guess. The season fries were good and the Nutella shake(which is new) was exceptional. If a greasy spoon joint was a 1 and a gourmet burger place was a 10, Blakes would be a 3. Meh really… just meh.

I am a regular this Blake’s, so they know what I’m going to order before I reach the counter. «Double meat Lotta, green chili, grilled onions.» The staff is friendly and will individualize any order to your satisfaction. My wife had them put cheese, green chili, and grilled onions on their Nathan’s hot dog. She loves it!

This place must be training grounds for newbie employees. It’s slower than molasses in January and staff isn’t the brightest out there. Good luck at this location. Try the one on Juan Tabo, about a mile away.

I never figured out Albuquerque’s fascination with this place. Sure it’s better than all those other fast food places… but? This particular store is the slowest burger joint I’ve been to. I think they start thawing the burger only once you order it. Allow plenty of time for drive thru– this food ain’t fast.
