I have taken my 20-​pound, long-​haired dog with a thick coat to Bath, Brush & Beyond for years, back when they were located in a tiny space on Rio Grande and then to their new, more expansive digs on 4^th St. The husband and wife owner team are wonderful. Chad manages the front end – calls, appointments, and payments – in a way that’s organized, professional, and friendly. He returns calls promptly, he schedules well, and he’s courteous. Tonya runs the grooming part with the same professional ethic. Under her care, my dog would come out sporting shiny hair that was trimmed neatly without being too short or too long and thinned out in areas where it was too tuft-​y. Like other reviewers have noted with their pets, my dog invariably appeared happy afterwards. Both Chad and Tonya seem knowledgeable about dogs and to care quite a bit about them. Their pet grooming salon also has a small store in the front area offering pet products like specialty foods, dog collars, etc. At their suggestion, I’ve bought different kinds of dog food from them, and I still use one of these brands regularly since my dog adores it.
My dog was on a monthly grooming plan, which provided a discounted rate. Compared with Petsmart, the cost at Bath Brush & Beyond initially seemed quite higher. But BB&B rolls a number of services under one cost (washing, trimming, thinning, brushing, nail care, teeth care) while Petsmart itemizes them; added up, the cost is fairly comparable. Tipping the balance in BB&B’s favor really was their excellent personalized service. Tonya was always attentive to the peculiarities of my dog’s hair growth as well as personality, and she was careful to use products that didn’t irritate my dog’s skin and that worked well on her coat. Besides, who wouldn’t want to support a small, local business run by such a hardworking, dedicated team? We moved to New England this past summer. I miss BB&B and I still have not found a pet grooming place out here that can compare to it.

I took my two dogs in for grooming they are beautiful, groomed to show quality. I have looked hard for groomers who want dogs be comfortable and don’t just shave them because that is fast and easy. My babies were groomed to perfection. The groomers here put the dogs comfort and well being first. I love the way they bathe dogs in a relaxing way. I love the cut it is soft and a perfect length! This is our local spot for great quality products for our four legged children. Working with the the staff we ended up with a Fromm brand dog food. Our youngest, has been on high end almost from the start. We added a second dog later on and she had not grown up on the a great food. After just a few months her coat started to soften and now, over a year later she is as soft as a puppy. This was the first time I have taken my little Corgi here so I was a little sceptic. I was definitely blown away at the job they did. I own a fluffy corgi so he had a lot of hair on him. They trimmed him up to look like a regular Corgi. He looked amazing. He smelled so good and his teeth were very white. He wasn’t scared there and was comfortable with the groomers.
It was very clean and the service was friendly. I will definitely take him back.

I would recommend Bath Brush & Beyond to anyone! My dog as some scar tissue due to a previous incident, which has made her a little tender to grooming and a little skittish when it comes to other people. I picked her up and she was as happy as can be, wagging tail and all. She looked great and smelled even better! The groomer did an excellent job and I cannot wait to take her back again! Everyone was so helpful and knowledgable, they made the experience for my dog AND myself a great one. I will be sure to recommend this place to all of my family and friends that have four-​legged fur-​babies.

I have been impressed by how knowledgeable Tania is about grooming and health. I have learned a lot from talking with her and the other groomers in the shop. They use excellent products and are very attentive to special requests. My dog has some special needs, and I am very particular about his care. They always have paid extra attention to his needs. I really feel like he is well cared for at Bath, Brush and Beyond. He comes home looking and feeling cleaner than from other groomers having had a thorough shampoo. He looks gorgeous and does not seem at all stressed. Rates are quite reasonable for the service and the extra care they provide. I recommend this groomer highly.

I am the kind of person who does outrageous things (like dye my dog different colors). I came across Bath Brush and Beyond and have been very pleased with their groomers and products. It is a family owned business, the husband works across the street and sells all sorts of organic good for your dog foods (canned and dry). His wife runs the grooming side of the business and they really do a good job. My dog has been all sorts of colors. They have permanent and temporary colors which have been approved for dogs and are gentle on their skin. I highly recommend both places.

This groomer is great!
They’re professional and return phone calls promptly. My newly adopted dog got bathed, brushed, de-​shedded, and nails buffed. He came out looking like a prince and seemed happy too. This is really something, because I’m accustomed to seeing the dogs through the windows at Petsmart looking terrified and fighting the «groomers» who look equally terrified (or angry).
You pay extra for the experience, but it’s worth it to have a happy, non-​traumatized furbaby!

Love this shop! Great client relations and service! I have used them many times over the years and they always listen to my requests and produce great results. I would recommend calling and setting up an appointment to get some great grooming done for your furry friends! Plus they have great rates!

I like this groomer. My dogs like this groomer. I love that I can go online and make an appointment. The cuts are not show quality, and depending on who grooms your dog, they are not always consistent, but the people are very friendly, and I don’t have show dogs… So this place totally works for me. Last few things: you don’t take your dog in and leave it all day, which is a pro and a con, and the parking is tight… as in very small parking lot, so don’t plan on bringing your Hummer unless you want to park across the street. About the the timing, I do have to schedule grooming around being able to come back in a few hours to pick my pups up. They like that, which is a good thing.
