Rosa created my bouquet and my husband’s boutonnière for our elopement, and what she designed totally surpassed my expectations and took my breath away.
My husband and I are avid hikers and backpackers who love the native greenery and wildflowers of northern California, and who also love succulents and air plants, so I asked Rosa to create a bouquet that included all of those elements. I knew I was asking for something unusual and I was a little afraid that I’d end up carrying something that looked like a pile of weeds from the side of the road instead of a bridal bouquet.
Well. What I got was an incredibly beautiful, artfully arranged, perfectly elegant bouquet that incorporated succulents, air plants, native greens, and wildflowers in ways I never could have imagined. I can’t wait to transplant the succulents into our garden!
She also took the time to create two boutonnieres so my husband could choose his favorite and the officiant could wear the other.
I can’t recommend her work highly enough!

Rosa did an amazing job decorating a gazebo and tables for our wedding in October. My bouquet was great too. We had a limited budges for flowers and Rosa was still willing to work with us and did a beautiful job! Thank you, Rosa, for making our big day so beautiful!

Rosa did all the flowers for our wedding just a few days ago at Inn at Schoolhouse Creek in Little River. My bouquet was stunning (all the flowers she did were beautiful), it was exactly what I wanted. I really couldnt have asked for anything else. I have not even seen Rosa’s flowers yet I’m already a huge fan. I called to place an order for flowers for my niece and asked if she could include some fruit as well. She does not normally do fruit baskets but offered to include some apples from her farm. They do not take credit cards and Rosa asked if I could put a check in the mail and would gladly deliver the arrangement today. Wow. Rosa was lovely to deal with and I can’t wait to meet her on my next visit to Albion.

Thank you Rosa for helping to create the «enchanting wedding» at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens that my daughter had always dreamed about having. We had corresponded by phone and email to make arrangements but felt an instantaneous bond when we finally met Rosa the day before the wedding at the flower shop and farm.

Rosa did the flowers for our wedding and they were just stunning! I remember when I first stumbled across a photo of her work on Style Me Pretty and thought that I would love to have her as my florist. I was so excited once I met with her and found that she is absolutely wonderful and clearly knows what she was doing. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and her work is beautiful. Everyone at our wedding couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous the flowers were. She even got me the coral peonies I wanted all the way from Holland. She is very thoughtful and her experience in this business really shows. She made my husband 2 boutonnieres just in case something happened to the first one or it were to wilt in the sun (it survived after all, but how nice that she thought of it!). Thank you, Rosa, for making our wedding day even more beautiful!

Rosa did a stunning flower arrangement for our elopement in Mendocino in April. She worked with us on an arrangement we selected after reviewing her website. It was just perfect for our wedding and although we had to leave if since we were leaving the area by plane, we left it for the folks that owned the house where we stayed. I have been working with Rosa for 4 years now. We have created many beautiful events together. She is the most down-​to-​earth, friendly person and always a pleasure to work with. How does this woman have no reviews yet? We purchased and elopement package from Elope Mendocino and were put in touch with Rosa for our floral. We gave very little guidance. Said we like hand tied bouquets and sent her a picture of my wife’s sash to illustrate the color scheme we were going for. I also mentioned my wife liked all the purple bouquets she had seen, but that I didn’t know how we would incorporate purple into our color scheme. Rosa sent the response «got it». So on our big day she delivered the flowers to our inn. I didn’t meet her, but when I came down to the ins main room and the ladies showed me the flowers… oh my god! Beautiful!!! She had incorporated little bits of purple in, penned little jewels into the roses which matched the jewels on the sash, etc. It was clear she put a lot of thought into it and we appreciate that very much. Everyone was going on and on about the bouquet and it actually brought tears to my wife’s eyes.

Rosa did the flowers for my wedding ceremony and reception in Mendocino, and I was amazed at how beautiful they looked. She is extremely reasonably priced, and amazingly helpful. Our initial meeting (after a series of emails) ran over an hour, while she wrote down everything that we liked, disliked, and wanted. We were so impressed with her attention to detail! We knew she would be perfect for us. All of my guests could not stop complimenting our bouquets and the flowers. Below is an excerpt from the email I sent Rosa after the wedding:
«Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers you did for our wedding. My bouquet was better than I had ever dreamed it would be! You perfectly took my vision of dahlias, open roses, succulents, vines, and other beautiful soft colored flowers and made them into something that I was having trouble envisioning! (Really, I had never seen succulents and vines together, and was worried about how they would go. It was PERFECT.) I love how the brooches were added to the bouquet and the ribbon-​wrapped handle, and appreciated your suggestion that my special brooches from my grandma go in a place of honor on the handle, as well as incorporating some onto my bridesmaids slightly brighter bouquets.
The boutonnieres and corsages were beautiful (we are planting the leftover succulents and hope that they will thrive! Oh, and we loved the gold wire!), and the centerpieces were so gorgeous that we actually wrapped up the vases carefully to bring home with us! We couldn’t bear to throw them out. Now I have beautiful flowers all in my home. I also wanted to thank you for your creative vision in placing a few dahlias along the grass where everyone would walk in, as kind of an entrance. They were gorgeous, and when I was waiting nervously I was so happy and excited to see them!

Rosa is an amazing artist and floral expert. She did all the flowers and arrangements for our wedding at The MacCallum House in Mendocino. She listened carefully to what we were interested in doing, and had helpful suggestions that refined the specifications. And all the details that she filled in thereafter were absolutely perfect. The flowers themselves were professionally done, perfectly arranged, and absolutely lovely. She got everything to the right place at the right time. Flowers that last forever!

My wife and I were recent guests at the Joshua Grindle Inn in Mendocino (HIGHLY recommended) and we had the pleasure of a fresh flower arrangement by L&R in our room. The floral arrangement was beautiful and quite unlike any I had seen elsewhere. The designer has an artist’s touch indeed. The arrangment also had great staying power. It lookled as good on the fifth day, when we departed, as it did on the first. Honest!
I recommend L&R. You will get an eye catching arrangement that does not look like some generic knockoff. Also, it will remain attractive and fresh looking long after day one.
