The Smile Team office is located in downtown Albertville, Alabama. Dr. Byron T. Smith is an Orthodontist trained in the specialty of aligning teeth and jaws. Our practice strives to provide the highest quality orthodontic care and personal attention to our patients in a friendly and comfortable environment. We offer traditional and clear braces as well as being a certified Invisalign provider.

Dr. Byron Smith is an Orthodontist that is proud to serve all of North East Alabama. He enjoys creating amazing new smiles!

Business Owner

Dr. Byron was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama. He attended college at Auburn University majoring in Biomedical Sciences. He graduated Auburn with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences– Summa cum laude. He furthered his education at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry graduating in the top 5% of his class. After dental school, a desired to see a different part of the country moved him cross-​country to the West Coast. There he started his Orthodontic Residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Byron has transitioned into The Smile Team that was previously Dr. Wayne Garrett’s Orthodontic Practice.
