I’ve been waiting for an hour and 45 minutes, Where the fuck have you been.

Ever get to Sunday and say«I don’t feel like going grocery shopping, let’s get something delivered.» That was me(and my pregnant wife) this past Sunday. She felt like a sub of some sort, I looked around online and found Trios. Their menus claims ‘Home of Boneless Chicken Wings’ which seems to be a strange proclamation but I was willing to overlook it as their menu looked decent. At about 5:15PM I ordered 6 wings xtra hot, french fries, a chicken club sub and an Italian mix sandwich(all very healthy options eh?). The young lady on the phone was very efficient taking the order and indicated that the delivery would take about an hour. An hour and a half later pregnant wife says«Are you going to call about our food?». I reluctantly(I like to give new places I order from the benefit of the doubt) did so, and the same order girl said that the order left at 6:40PM, seemingly unapologetic about the wait. It was 6:50PM, the delivery guy showed up. He was pre-tipped from a credit over the phone, so I just signed the paper and off he went, not saying anything about the fact that it took nearly 2 hours for my food to get to me. I opened the bag of food and found ice cold fries, ice cold MILD wings, and cold chicken cutlets on the chicken club sub. I started the oven to reheat the food, at which time my wife took over the situation. She called Trios and asked for a manager. A male(not manager) got on the phone. She explained the situation and said it was our first time ordering from them. He came back to explain one of the most ridiculous ‘delivery policies’ I have ever heard of. Policy: If you want your food to be hot you need to pick it up from us. She got him to refund the card for the fries and wings, but only because it was our first time ordering. Now I can understand if the food is not piping hot or sometimes even only lukewarm, but cold? No. Why offer delivery at all? It seems like it would just cause you a lot of problems. The food was pitiful. I will never give this place another chance. Good luck with this place.

Polite, professional staff in this combination pizza place and Deli — mostly seems good for slices in a hurry. Most of the attention in this place seems to go into the staff and food, and the façade, not so much into the tables/seating — they’re cheap and old. Possibly because it’s in a city college neighborhood, possibly just because the furniture has held up long enough not to warrant replacing. When it comes down to it, this is a place to go for a carryout slice, or a quick bite where atmosphere isn’t a big concern. The staff are polite, services is quick, and they have some really interesting spice mix in their pizza.
