The Standard Restaurant & Lounge, co-owned by regional restaurateur Alex Serroukas, has been a part of the Albany, NY landscape since 2008. The Serroukas family has been passionate about bringing fantastic food to the Capital Region and New York’s Hudson Valley. Following in the family tradition, The Standard provides an out-of-the-ordinary dining experience for patrons looking for upscale cuisine in a laid back atmosphere.

Business Owner
Alex Serroukas’s family has involved in the Capital Region and New York’s Hudson Valley food scene for over forty years. As a child, Serroukas was steeped in the family business, learning the ins and outs of providing high-quality cuisine and impeccable service. Co-owner of The Coyote Grill in Poughkeepsie, the Everyready diner chain, and the Double O Grill in Wappinger Falls, Alex brings a lifetime of knowledge and expertise in food and hospitality to The Standard.
