Phibbs is all about the customer. They do not hassle, but are right there to help. Sales is great and service is even better which is incredibly rare. I have just stopped in and they often can accomodate me for parts and maintenance. Replacement tires were cheaper for the same tire than other places in the Capital District. I have always been treated with respect. If the bike is one of theirs’ (Kawasaki /​Yamaha) they even make special arrangements like no appointment inspections. Great dealer.

First off I am going to start by saying that the man in there is a racist (sales department man) I went in to buy a moped about two years ago and we all sat down and he did not say a WORD to me! I ended up not getting the moped but had half the money for it I wanted to finance it. he refused to help me. and had some sly comments to say under his breath I left after. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! these guys suck will always pass on the word about how horrible there service is over there! never have I in my life been treated with such disrespect at a place that I am going to spend a lot of money never!

I finally made my first trip Phibbs this week to for a quick trip check out some helmets I was interested in, and ended up staying for a lot longer than expected. I’m usually in-​and-​out at bike shops due to less than helpful attitudes, but I was met with a different atmosphere than I typically find. Associates were extremely helpful, accomodating, seemed happy to help, less interested in the end and more interested in the means. There was a great ‘no pressure’ attitude, they just wanted to find me what I was looking for, and give me any guidance I needed along the way.
It seems like many powersport shops I’ve been to in the past seem to be less interested in making the customer happy, especially if they’re just browsing. Most shops allow you to sit on their bikes, but there is hesitance especially if you aren’t going to be buying one from them. Phibbs employees insisted my wife and I sit on any bike that peaked our curiosity, even knowing we wouldn’t be buying anything that day. I didn’t end up finding a helmet that I had to take home, but I will make return trips to Phibbs in the future for any of my maintenance, gear, and general motorcycle needs.
