I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been in private practice in the Albany/​Berkeley area since 1997. Prior to 1997, I worked in hospitals and agencies as a clinical child therapist. Therefore, I have had over thirty years of practice as a therapist with a specialization in child and adolescent diagnosis and treatment. I also have had extensive training and clinical experience in child and adolescent cognitive and personality assessment. The families that I work with have found me to be very approachable and understanding as well as invaluable in making accurate diagnostic assessments and planning treatment goals that work for both the child or teen and their families, depending on what the presenting problem is.

In addition to my therapy practice, I teach graduate students in psychology at Cal State East Bay, and undergraduate psychology students at the University of San Francisco. I also offer consultation to other therapists and training agencies.
