I enjoy coming here to get my nails done. the place I used to go to in Latham farms, the men were very rough on my hands and nails. The men here are very gentle and i never leave with cuts on my fingers. They try to have conversations with you the best they can, it’s difficult to hear them sometimes because of the masks but they try which is very well appreciated. All the ladies that work there are always nice and always welcome you in there with a smile no matter what they’re doing. They are also very clean aswell. The pedicure station is always clean and they change the bags for each customer. Very good, very nice. overall nice place!

There’s no point in letting someone make an appointment; I arrived 10 mins early and ended up waiting literally an hour before someone finally started working on me. Had me soaking in the tub for 30mins before even knowing who was going to do my nails(feet got all pruned and everything). I Had to switch to just a polish change instead of a full pedicure because I didn’t have time to wait. It was done fine but everything else about this experience sucked

I stopped in here as an afterthought picking up an outfit for a job interview. My nails were gross, chipped polish and I needed something nice. Manicure was quick and she shaped my nails into a square perfectly. I had a gel french manicure with opi bubble bath and the nails dried immediately. $ 30, out the door and gorgeous! Took one star off, only because my previous polish was a dark purple and there were still little bits of it on the sides of my nails. Not very noticeable, but not perfect. Still, very happy and definitely will stop again if I’m ever in need of a mani while in Colonie Center.

I hate giving bad reviews but this has to be done. I came here with my mom for a manicure pedicure date. I understand that at times there can be an influx of customers, but the managing staff should have let them know that there would be a wait time. My manicure was rushed, my pedicure was rushed and honestly it just wasn’t worth the money.

I get my nails done by Tina every two weeks and they are always done professionally and the way I like them. I am not really a fan of other workers there. Pretty cold and very selective to the people they make eye contact with and service, which isn’t cool. Everyone’s money is green!

Worst customer service ever! Less than 24 hours after getting mani and pedi the polish was chipped on every nail. When I returned to complain and ask that it be done over, the woman was rude and gave me a hard time. She told me next time I should get the more expensive gel service if I want my polish to last. I’m extremely unhappy!

Stopped in with my sister for a quick pedicure during a girls weekend. Went in with low expectations considering it’s a mall nail place. We were pleasantly surprised. Both employees were friendly & attentive. We all interacted together. Nail color was perfectly applied & lasted four weeks… well beyond my expectations. I’d go here again if I was ever at Colonie Mall

2 Weeks and half my toe nails are bare. I was visiting and needed a pedicure. The women working here did not interact with the clients and spoke to each other only in their native language. :It was not a happy refreshing experience. I would not go back.

First of all my friend and I were barely noticed when we walked in and when we finally were the girl acted as if it was a problem that BOTH of us wanted a mani-pedi. Second, I hadn’t even put my feet in the water before she started working away(I like to soak my feet for a little while at least), talking and laughing with the girl next to her. She never said a word to me while she was working. Anyway, my pedi was average nothing special. She continued to ignore me during the mani and didn’t even bother to ask about what I wanted to do with my nails as far as cutting/filling, round/square etc. I ended up with this weird egg shaped thumb nail until I asked her to fix it. The rest of the experience was average. By the next day, 6 nails had chipped polish likely due to the old yucky polish she had to adds paint thinner to… I will not be back!

This is the second time I’ve been there. There prices are cheap enough, so I decided to give them a second chance. Both times were horrible. I had shellac/gel nails done and a wax. It is very cramped. It is not clean. All the employees are talking non-stop to each other. None of them barely lifted there eyes up when I came in. No pleases, no thank yous. The girl that did my nails both times, never smiled or spoke to me, other than asking me what color I wanted. She was very rough, pulling and pushing my hands. It the most unfriendly un «Spalike» salon I have ever been to. Though my nails were done adequately, it doesn’t make up for the horrible customer service.

AWFUL!!! Never had any problems here until last night when my daughter went in with a girlfriend by themselves. They were OBVIOUSLY taken advantage of because they are young!!! OVERCHARGED&AWFUL job! Charged her and extra $ 10 to cut down her nails! I am in the wrong business! I will never go back!

I wasn’t expecting much. When you go to a nail place in a mall, I think it’s safer to have no real expectations than to be looking for something high quality. I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is tiny and cramped. OMG, so very very cramped. You walk in and you’re in the middle of everything going on, which is a little off-putting, but once you sit down, it all becomes a wonderful experience. It was one of the best pedicures I’ve had, but I think part of that is because I had been getting sub-par pedis at my regular place(but since I didn’t know what I was missing, I wasn’t bothered by it). The girls are all friendly and listen to what the customers want. The clientele are all quiet, but friendly, and there is a relaxing vibe to the place, overall. They have a television on the wall, as so many places do, but they keep the volume low enough to not be obnoxious, but they put on the closed captioning, so if you want to watch, you can read what’s going on, but if you want to ignore it, the volume is low enough to make that happen. I completely felt pampered as did everyone else in the salon. It was a really excellent experience and I will definitely go back to see if they’re consistently good or if I just lucked out. But, hey, for $ 35, I got well more than I paid for.

I’ve been here twice for manicures and to let my «Little Sister» get acrylic nails as a special reward for a good school performance. Its reasonably priced but the cleanliness is questionable. I believe the implements used on nails are adequately sanitized. The manicure is mechanical and the aesthetician doing it is talking to everyone else in the shop and barely looking at her work, but what do you want for $ 12? My nails were neatly shaped and painted neutral pink when all was said and done. My «Little Sister» loved her acrylic nails and the special design. I was a little grossed out by watching one of the technicians wax her own arm pit while there was a shop full of people.(i mean, cool, she’s braver than me, but ewwww no one wants to nor should see that). While I don’t think that was necessarily illegal, I do have concerns that the sanitary conditions of the waxing implements(i.e.: reuse of wax, reuse of applicator sticks, etc). Now I don’t have enough eyebrows to wax and its not polite conversation with mostly strangers to discuss the application of wax to other regions of the body, so its not an immediate concern for me, but if you’re thinking about getting a quick wax… don’t get it here.
