I can’t say enough good things about the way Fisher took care of my dad. Perry was very caring during our meeting the day after my Dad went to Heaven. They came and picked him up very late and allowed the family all the time they needed to say goodbye. He passed on a Tuesday and they made a Saturday service happen for us. The cost was also very reasonable. The service went very well, it is a beautiful location. They have a good sound system and a large TV in the front of the chapel so you can play favorite songs or a short movie about your loved one and they run the electronics for you. The only thing I think they could have done better on was the death certificates. Originally it was suppose to take 2 weeks but it took them a little over 4. We chose to go pick the papers up from marion county it would have taken closer to 5 weeks if we waited to pick them up at Fisher. The concerning thing to me was they refused to keep me informed on where the forms were at. I called them a few different times and asked them to call me about it. I was the one on the contract and the one who paid them. They wouldn’t, they only contacted my uncle, they also released the certificates to him too. Thank goodness my uncle is a wonderful man who has been the most helpful but still they refused to stay in contact with me. This could have been a real mess for us if my family wasn’t working together. But overall the person who was most important in all of this, my Dad, was treated with the most dignity and care.
