Design-A-Sign

I was so happy to find them. I ordered a banner elsewhere that was without a critical center grommet (no one wants a saggy banner!) They added a center one for me on the spot. I wish I had found them when I was looking for the job in the first place. Really great vibe in there I hope to have the opportunity to work with them in the future.

I highly recommend Design-​a-​sign. They just did the design for my van and I could not be happier. They were super lovely to work with and incredibly efficient and professional. I have already had so many comments about the van and now feel I am driving around a mobile billboard — wish I had worked with them sooner!

My company has had three signs made here. Each one came out great with colors true to the preview. We also had each order done on a rush basis and they banged it out nicely! I have used these guys twice now for signage for a couple of public projects and as much as I think they are really nice guys — their work was far less than perfect.
The artwork on one of my sign orders was not fixed as they said they would before the printed the sign (I paid them extra to do this). But I gave them another chance with a second sign order — an acrylic sign where the signage is mounted on the back of a piece of plexi — and this white sign came back to me with black dust bubbles (air pockets) embedded in the sign. When I asked them about this the women behind the counter — I think the mother of the boys that runs the shop — was very arrogant and did would offer to redo the sign. She seems to be running the show down there now and in her mind the customer does not come first. I paid nearly $ 50 for this 7×11 sign for which she felt I should not complain since it was such a good price! (I thought it was pretty expensive for what I got on top of it having flaws!)
Anyway– I am sorry to say I am going to have to find another shop to work with in the future.

Design-​A-​Sign did AMAZING work. We came with an idea and they made it a reality. They have a really cool and laid back demeanor, so we never felt pressured or awkward trying to explain something. Eric & Nick were very friendly and helpful through the whole process. We will be back to work with them again if we open future shops, or need more signage.

We have about 20 vehicles in our company’s fleet that have all been done by Design a Sign. We come back because it is a convenient location, the prices are affordable and the work is always clean and precise. We are always impressed with the way they come out and definitely make our company look more professional and it also brings in extra leads from being seen on the streets. We have also done a few banners with them and have come out looking fantastic. Thanks to Eric and his team for the great work!

Had another order and once again design-​a-​sign exceeded my expectations way to go guys keep it up.

My business has been burglarized 3 times. The last time this burglar broke my front two windows to get inside. Design-​A-​Sign helped numerous times with printing up the window stickers (they never fade in the sun). They are very nice and helped make the process a lot easier for me.

I really want to give them more stars as i like the guys there.
But After spending over $ 1000 on an assortment of signage for my business,
Many plastic exterior realtor type signs with wire frames
Several Large Framed metal Exterior signs,
a large banner vinyl canvas with grommets ‚
a Metal 2 sided sandwich board
a car sign
I can say only the one for my car window (which I insisted against their recommendations to have it installed on the INSIDE of the glass) has lasted and looks decent at all.
All the other signs immediately showed signs of scratching and wear of the printed material. I had asked them the same day I picked them up as they immediately got some marks on the logo. They implied they were still wet and it was my fault. No solution. No concern that they were selling me something that would immediately become crap and not met exterior conditions.
Well I have since found out that they never do a vinyl protective coating over the stuff they print which means even months or years later it wears off really easily. You will not be able to scrub or clean your exterior signs from them.
Compared to signs I had made from another company 12 years ago these are JUNK and were a HUGE WASTE of MONEY!!$
My old signs from another company are still washable, full color, no scratched off destruction to the printed material.
I would NOT recommend this venue for signage of any kind
also no signage info on sight about text size of Font styles and which are readable from which distance etc… basic signage vendor important info for clarity when making a sign for a client– yes? not here i guess

They picked up a dropped ball and ran with it. We are very appreciative.

Cash flow is tight but my new garden service needs to spend on quality marketing.
Erik did a proof for our door-​sign and I put down a deposit and three days later (they are closed on the weekends) I had me the most-​def design ever hands down.

Awesome shop. Priced very reasonably and very easy to work with. Eric helped me with a van I needed decals for and it turned out great! One little hick up but its no big deal. Very satisfied with the service!

Eri, c and the guys at Design-​A-​Sign were great to work with. They took some art work and brought it to the proper scale, added graphics and adjusted the color and, Viola!, they gave me the perfect sign for my business. What fast and friendly service!
I was driving in Albany one day and passed Design-​A-​Sign. Something caught my attention since I had been considering for two years to finally get magnetic signs for my car for my Feng Shui Business. I went inside, described what I wanted, placed my order, and –voila– the signs and decals were done lickety-​split. In just a few days I had the very things I had been thinking about for over 2 years. That simple!
