History

Established in 1979.

Original building was a farmhouse built in 1826. Barn was converted into dining room and additional guest rooms in 1950’s. Single rooms combined into deluxe suites and rooms in 1990’s. As with any old building, the Darby Field Inn is a work in progress…

Business Owner

Marc and Maria bought the Darby Field Inn in May of 1979. Since then, they have raised 4 children here, and welcomed guests from around the world to their romantic country inn. More than 30 years later, The Darby Field Inn and Restaurant continues to surprise and delight guests adventurous enough to «wander off the beaten path.»
