Rented the room for NYE. First time we been out in years. One suite left the lady said it was a smoking room. Ok, how bad could it be? Shoulda asked smoking what? Smelled like some dude killed himself while chainsmoking cigarettes and crack in there. Staff didnt even spray an air freshener. Maybe it’s where the staff smokes crack too. Now no water in the hot tub. They offer to charge us for a king but this is nye. I wanted something special. 100 for the sitter 100 dinner 200 on drinks and now I’m in a cab on the way home. Thanks for nothing and ruining NYE. Dirt bag crack house stay home

This place was very shady. The rooms were very dusty. We had to clean All the tables and chairs so that we can use them. The rooms were pretty smelly with dark smoke smell. And we asked for a change in room in the receptionist. She gave another room key but it was pretty much the same. We found out the ac wasn’t working and after complaining to her she came and did something and it got fixed. Again we had to go to the reception area and ask for towels for the bathroom. Theory didn’t kept any towels in the room itself and we noticed some one kept their undergarment in the toilet door.
It was very disappointing experience with coco’s inn and we never ever book there in the future. We don’t recommend to anyone for sure. Even for one night
There was a Day’s inn opposite to that we should have checked that one instead.

Ok. So I guess for this area $ 91.20 on a Monday night isn’t a bad price for hotels in this area. but I’d rather pay a little bit more for a hotel that is better. i stay at hotels across the country and this hotel is just barely above motel6 standards. I stayed here because my truck is in the shop and the guys at the shop recommended this hotel. They claimed there are all kinds of places to eat in walking distance. Well, In Freezing Subzero temps, I would NOT Agree.
When we first arrived, the woman behind the desk was not very friendly and seemed easily distracted. whatever happened to customer service? The first key she gave us didn’t work. it’s not as if there was a whole mess of people trying to check in at the same time. So had to get that fixed.
The room was quaint. but the temp was always too hot or too cold. Bathroom receives none of the heat. So prepare to have a frozen butt as your wake up call.
I woke up early this morning because it seems that the beds share the wall with the bathroom of another room. Wasn’t a pleasant experience hearing someone have a.difficult.time in the restroom.
The beds are full sized. not queen as most places. but no biggie.
Water pressure sucked in the small shower. But towels were ok. Now. the toilet paper is a totally different story. If I’m paying almost $ 100 a night for a room… .i expect to have decent toilet paper. Maybe angel soft or some other cheap brand. but at least two-​ply. 1 — ply is unacceptable. i don’t want crappy toilet paper trying to stick to any lady bits of mine.
Bottom line. I would never stay here again.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. My room had a musty odor to it, the shower was barely big enough to fit me, and the wi-​fi jn the room was spotty at best. Desk clerks were unprofessional. At various times, I overheard them yelling at delinquent tenants over the phone and making lengthy personal calls while on the job. Plus, due to the hotel’s out-​of-​the-​way location, if you have any business in downtown Albany, you lose any savings you might have accrued from staying here by cabbing back and forth.
If you are ever in Albany, just pony up the extra cash for a hotel in the downtown area.

Great Room And Service While I Was There. Definitely Would Go Again. I Got The King Jacuzzi Suit, Smoking. There Were No Bad Smells And The Room Was Warm When I Got There. Overall, Good Experience!

This is the second worst hotel or motel we have ever stayed in in 50+ years. As others have stated, we just wanted a cheap place to stay coming in on a late flight to Albany and heading home in the Catskills the next day. You would be better off sleeping in your car or on a park bench. The rooms are ridiculously small, The rooms stink. Where can you find sheets that thin even if you wanted to? The pillows smell like the last 3 people who used them.
The guy at the check in desk at 12:30 AM looked like they pulled him out of the park or off the side of the road and propped him up to spend the night.
There are a ton of great chain hotels along Wolf Rd. closer to the airport so definitely don’t stay here.

Worst hotel ever. Room smelled like mold. Shower was so disgusting I had to set the soap on the top of the toilet tank. No iron and no hair dryer. This is a ½ star hotel at best.

PROS:
Clean room, good WiFi, comfortable bed, friendly service, free breakfast, convenient location, and good price.
CONS:
Small room, cramped bathroom, not the best room location (right next to the front desk overlooking a wood-​slatted wall).
OVERALL:
I guess it depends on what you’re looking for. I’ve stayed in much nicer hotels than this one, so if you’re a traveler who likes amenities and luxury, shell out some extra dough for a nicer place. But if you’re like me and what you’re looking for is a clean, convenient hotel for a low price where you can sleep, shower, and save money you can use enjoying the rest of your trip, this place should suit you just fine.
I don’t frequently stay at hotels, so I can’t compare this one to others in its price range, but I was satisfied with this experience.

I adventured here even though there were no Unilocal reviews about it yet, and because the room rates were incredibly cheap, and because there weren’t many cute inns or B&Bs around Albany.
It was completely abysmal. I will stay in hostels, on people’s couches, in not-​so-​great hotel rooms, and I love to support local business (which this is), but I will NEVER stay here again. I will stay at a chain hotel next door next time.
Let me delineate the factors that made my stay awful:
–generally lazy, unfriendly, and incompetent staff. I had a situation where I needed to check in before my roommate (whose name the room was under), and he called ahead to ensure I could check in earlier (twice). Long story short, because Marge at the front desk barely gave him any information, and lied about it later, I ended up waiting 1 hour to check in.
–The electric card reader did not work in my room, so they reassigned me rooms and I had to use an old school key. Later that night, I saw a new guest who was assigned my previous room, trying with all his might to get the electric card to unlock his door. They gave another person the room that had previously not worked for me without fixing the problem!
–secondhand smoke smell in a non-​smoking room
–tiny portable blow dryer with a post-​it note that says, «don’t use on high.» I tried it, just to see, and straight up almost electrocuted myself because IT SHOT OUT BLUE SPARKS.
–the bathtub is so tiny, like 3.5−4 feet long. So, you cannot take a bath or do other roomy shower things like dance the disco.
–The water pressure was like a sprinkler… seriously. More water came out of the faucet, than the showerhead, even though the shower setting was on.
There are much better hotels all around this area. Cocca’s inn actually has a statement on their front desk saying they aren’t perfect. This fits the general attitude exactly — they excuse themselves for not providing quality service on some basis of «being human» and «local.» Local or not, a place has to work to earn my business. Cocca’s will not work for you.
