Welcome to Capital Region Tutoring, your source for quality tutoring in the greater Albany area. We are capable of tutoring a variety of subjects at the high school and undergraduate level, and excel at identifying the learning styles and techniques best suited for individual students. We specialize in math and science courses at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC), and SUNY Albany. Our aim is to provide quality tutoring and assistance for those in need at rates affordable to all. History

Established in 2013.

Capital Region Tutoring was started to provide the assistance students need at prices they and their families can afford. There is no question that everyone comes from different walks of life, and that everyone’s situation is different. Unfortunately, sometimes this means that students, often children, do not get the specific help and attention they need and deserve. Our aim is to provide this assistance through quality tutoring. Special, lower rates are always available for those who cannot afford to pay high prices.

Capital Region tutoring was started by Steven Calebrese in the Summer of 2013. Steven is a NYS Certified Teacher, and holds his M.A. in Adolescent Education from Union Graduate College. In addition, Steven earned holds Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He has been a private tutor for over 5 years, helping students at both the undergraduate and high school level. As a teacher, Steven is passionate about his subjects and his students. His enthusiasm helps promote an engaged learning environment that keeps students focused and interested about the subject at hand.
