This place is great. I’m leaving now in Albany and found a Barber is sometimes difficult. I had a hair cut with Kendu and I love my hair cut. The place is full all time, but they do appointments if the client wanted. They have Latinos and African Americans doing hair cuts. Great place.

my regular barber shop, been coming here for months now. Recommend it to everybody who’s looking for a good hair cut, you don’t really wait too long because they always have enough workers. I go to banks, very professional guy and he’s really talented. I did get cuts from other barbers in the shop but I prefer banks. Everybody is professional in the shop, I’ve tried couple of other barbers in Albany, on Madison near Ontario street but honestly these guys are way better. they provide very good customer service also, they create a bond with their clients unlike other unfriendly barber shops. If you care about your hair cut, bricks is the place.

For those who are skeptical like me when going to a barber shop you’ve never been to before, rest assure you can’t go wrong! I called and made an appointment with Jason at noon and was in the seat by 1:30. He was very fast and efficient but also meticulous in his work; the best edge up I’ve gotten in a while! It was Saturday, so it did seem busy (Not sure what it’s like during the week.) but nonetheless people were in and out in a short time; there were plenty of barbers there to handle the crowd. All in all I highly recommend at least trying the place out, you won’t be disappointed!

Best barber shop in Albany… Large, clean space, great music & talented barbers… never a long wait because there’s like 8 – 12 barbers working at any given time. Weekends are pretty busy though… just make an appointment for faster weekend service. Costs a little more, but completely worth getting in & out fast on a Saturday morning.

Classic barber shop atmosphere… Its funny, interesting & always educational. There’s always like 8 – 10 barbers on at a time so it’s never a long wait… even though I always wait for Jason at the end. Its the kind of place that can cut your hair nomatter if youre black, white, hispanic or asian… They love what they do & make you look good.
They’re always glad to see you, happy you came back & thankful for your business. and they remember your name.
Kind of like the «Cheers» of barber shops. haha
