Extremely disappointing, we have come to this store on and off for the past 5 years and not had anything like this ever happen before. My daughter wanted to have ice cream cake for her seventh birthday party. Her brother had a clown cake(different store) for his party and she was insistent that she get one for her birthday. She loved everything about his cake, and wanted it for her party guests and self. Tuesday I ordered her cake in the afternoon, asking if it could be done by 1100AM Saturday since the party would be at noon, the young woman helping me told me that this would be fine and I paid for the cake assuming that everything would go according to plan. Saturday came around and I went to pick up the cake after my daughters cheer game ended. I went in and the woman greeted me, then asked what she could get me and I told her that I was there to pick up an ice cream cake, I told her my name, then she went over to a side counter looked at a cake order receipt and went into the back; she then came out and told me that the cake decorator had not finished the cake, and that she was not sure why and that she could give me some money back because of the issue. I assumed this meant that some small parts were not done. She then told me that she did not understand why I was told that it would be done at 1100AM, since they do not do that. I was told that it would take fifteen minutes to finish the cake, so I assumed that the cake must have been near done. My suspicious began to rise when I saw her hastily grab ice cream cones and tear papers off before going around to the ice cream flavors and scooping them into the cone, putting them on a tray, and so forth. This is when I realized the cake was likely no where near done at all and that she meant she would, «decorate» it in 15 minutes a rush job no doubt, she went in the back to put the ice cream cones down, somewhere and I began to become concerned with if they or everything for that matter would start to melt, perhaps she was decorating them in the freezer I thought to myself, so that would help in a way so that they would not melt as much. She then returned with the cake, the only thing that was done on it was the alternating levels of ice cream and cake were assembled with the white frosting over them. I had asked her, if the cake decorator had, not done the cake at all, to which she responded, well all it needs is some frosting and the clowns; which are the main attraction on the cake. I sat and waited as she hastily grabbed icing from a drawer then went into the back of the store again, to decorate everything. After waiting for a while, she came back out and tried to refund $ 20 to my card, after it did not work, she gave me four $ 5 bills, and apologized that the cake had not been finished again. She then brought the cake out and boxed it up, by then it was edging close to 1125AM. I looked at the cake noticing that the little clown cones were melting, so I blasted the AC and tried to get home as safe and quick as possible to prevent my daughters birthday cake from being a ruined melted mess. I did take the cake, because I did not want my daughter to not have a cake on her big day. The clowns had a shiny glaze over them, they had been melting, since before I left the store. I put the cake in the freezer hoping they would harden up in time for the party. I noticed that the words of the cake were smashed together, overlapping in letters, the clowns gave an apparent appearance of being rushed and the cones were cracked, one was broken on top, I later checked the box to see if it broke on the way home; no, no cone pieces it was instead put on broken. My daughter did notice things that were wrong with her cake and did get upset, the clowns stuck to the cake and ripped apart from the cones, chunks of ice cream stuck to the cake and the clowns were being tore apart, the cones cracked more and some crumbled. I will be returning to the store in the future since I have gotten cakes from this store which were great and ready. I have spoken to the owner whom expressed how unacceptable she feels this experience was and was very apologetic as well as assured me that she was updating policies so that this would not happen ever again in the future to anyone; we do look forward to our next baskin robins experience because we do all enjoy the ice cream cakes and how they typically look.

Super clean. Great selection of flavors. The girls behind the counter were both friendly and smiling. I ask for a suggestion for milkshake and was given several options. Very good service!

Complete opposite of the BR in Corvallis(good thing). Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff. I asked about the pre-packed ice cream which they had for a great price but we were also alerted to the hand packed for half off! The flavors may be a bit limited if you’re comparing the flavors to everything else they had in the store but a great alternative to store bought ice cream. The store was well lit, clean and had the AC at a comfortable level. I will most definitely drive to this BR from Corvallis.

After having just come from eating as much sushi as I could possibly stomach, I thought what a great idea it would be to go the BR, as you are always hungry soon after eating at a sushi restaurant. This time was no excpeption. The entire family each got their own pint of mix and match ice creams. This was way better than going to the store and opening all of the freezer doors, only to wait 10 minutes for them to defrost so you can look and see what you want again. The staff was friendly and very efficient. Conveniently located on the corner here in Albany, great place to stop off no matter what time of year.
