Specialties
Albany Flood Control a division of Temporary Heating Technologies offer professional grade rental equipment and consultation to homeowners and businesses that have had a flodd or other water occurence. In many cases you can do the cleanup and remove the water yourself without have to hire a water restoration service. With our guidance from our IICRC certified technicians we can help you get the job done fast and save you alot of money in the process. We can rent you the same equipment that the pros use and give you the guidance to get you back on track. Most people can easily get rid of the water but if the space is not properly dried and the relative humidty is allowed to stay above 60% for an extended period of time those are the conditions where mold will start to grow. In addition you also get the musty basement smell which is the first indicator of mold growth if it cannot be seen already.
History
Established in 2010.
Albany Flood Control was started in August 2010 and is a division of Temporary Heating Technologies. Temporary Heating Technologies provides Indirect Fired Heating Equipment for large contruction sites as well as drying services to the construction industry. The owner of the company was the former National Sales Manager for the Winter Heating program for the largest rental company in North America and saw an opportunity back then to provide rental equipment to the homeowner and commercial business for flood clean up. The company was put up for sale and before the sale was to go through the corporate sales department was jsut about completely eliminated and that is how Temporary Heating Technologies was foundedin the fall of 2007. Finally the time and resources were available to start Albany Flood Control. Check out www.albanyfloodcontrol.com or www.tempheattech.com and click on the flood zone.
Meet the Business Owner
Brian B.
Business Owner
The owner has been in the construction equipment rental industry for 22 years and is a graduate of SUNY IT Utica, NY with a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering. He developed the latest techniques for heating large construction sites with Indirect Heating Equipment which happens to be the newest product being used in the water restoration industry to dry flood damaged houses and buildings. With there being no good rental resources for flood victims coupled with the expertise on proper use of the equipment available he saw an opportunity to fill a niche in the water restoration industry for those people who are willing to do the work themselves but just need to know what equipment to use and how to use it. That is the service that Albany Flood Control provides. We help you get the water and humidity out the right way before mold has a chance to grow.
