History
Established in 2011.
Alacrity Frame Workshop is the rebirth of the 34 year old Frame of Mind.
Owner Brian Shea spent 10 of his 16 years as a picture framer with the now defunct Frame of Mind, as framer, manager, and then General Manager. When Frame of Mind closed, Brian purchased the inventory and equipment, and moved it all to downtown Albany’s Art Neighborhood.

Brian Shea grew up in Connecticut.
He moved to the Albany area to go to college, and decided to stay in the area after leaving the academic world.
He has been a picture framer for 16 years, and business owner for 1 year.
Brian is married to Jessica Shea, owner of Reptile Adventure.
