Marci helped alleviate headaches in one appointment.
Sometimes in the fall I get excruciating headaches. This year has been the worst. One at least every other day.
I tried acupuncture, chiropractic, homeopathics, Excedrin migraine, Allegra-​d. NOTHING helped and I was starting to feel pretty desperate.
My acupuncturist suggested cranial sacral work but didn’t know anyone to recommend. Naturally I deferred to Unilocal
I had a very relaxing session with Marci. Felt out of sorts the rest of the day
I’ve now had two sessions with her and it’s weird I’ll get all the symptoms of a headache, but don’t really get the headache. Tightness in neck, sinus congests, get hot, but not the pain. I’ve had only a few light headaches since the first treatment, but nothing like what I was getting.
I’m going to continue to see Marci because I can tell whatever she does is good for me.
Her office has a nice vibe and she’s a really kind person. I feel good recommending her services.

I am a big fan of Western medicine. However, when it comes to doctors prescribing drugs to mask the problems rather than fixing the issue; I have a problem.
Last September, I was rear-​ended on the Bay Bridge while I was at a dead stop for several seconds. Not only did my back and neck get hurt, but I suffered a concussion. This was my 3^rd bad concussion in a 9 year span. I lost the ability to think clearly. I felt dizzy and struck with vertigo. There was a non-​stop headache that felt like a tangible huge cluster of pressure in the front and back of my head.
I visited my doctor several times to try to alleviate the pain; I ended up getting sleeping pills and anxiety pills. Both of which didn’t work for me, and I think they made my headache feel worse. I visited specialists who told me that all i could do was wait. I saw a neurologist who told me that there was nothing that I could do and that it might take 6 months for me to start to feel better.
After 2 months of constant pain, and doctors that kept trying to prescribe me medicine to get me to stop annoying them, I was ready for any remedy. I went to a CAbi party in the first week of November 2011, and 2 of my friends suggested that I visit Marci Milligan for craniosacral therapy.
Okay, I must confess that when my friend, Karen, told me about her craniosacral classes that she studied earlier that year, I totally didn’t understand. As a matter of fact, I couldn’t comprehend what she was trying to describe to me, so I chalked it up to «granola» and left it at that.
By last November, I was looking for ANYTHING! So I scheduled an appointment with Marci for the next week.
The very first time that Marci worked on my head, she was able to feel the mass restriction. She was the first other person to acknowledge that there was something there, and confirm that i am not crazy because by looking at me (especially since the injuries were internal), I looked normal. It felt like a serious blow to my credibility on how others just couldn’t understand my injuries. And btw, if you are my friend who is reading this and you couldn’t understand the extent of my pain, you really hurt my feelings. I’m not a person who walks around saying «woe is me». I’m the type of person who will just deal with the pain.
Anyway, I fell asleep during our session, so I can’t explain how she did it. but she also found the pain in my neck and in my sacrum that just wouldn’t go back into place. She also gives first time clients a discount. I do love bargains!
This is February, and Marci has been working on me since then. Our sessions are spaced out to 2 weeks now, so I’m not annoying her as much these days. I look forward to when I can see her. Even my chiropractor fell in love with Marci’s talent! My chiropractor helps me to pinpoint areas to have Marci concentrate on and help to fix me all around.
I recommend Marci’s therapy to everyone I meet who speaks about an injury. I wish I could explain craniosacral more, but I don’t understand it. I can vouch for it because for me, it was the ONLY thing that worked. I really wished that my doctor could recommend alternative medicines. That way I wouldn’t have to deal with such pain in my head for so long.
I look to Marci like she is my angel. She truly has a gift. My friend, Laurel, said that she visited other craniosacral therapists all over the world. She was the woman who convinced me to visit Marci. I believe that every thing happens for a reason. I’m so indescribably happy with Marci. She makes me want to become a healer and help others, but there is no way that I could have her gift. Skill can be taught, but talent is natural. Marci is truly talented. I’m so happy that I have her in my life now; I know that you would be happy, too!
