Just to inform any body that needs work done around the house. If you have more than $ 500 worth of work that needs to get done the person doing the work needs to have a contractors license. Handyman or not, that’s the law. Three amigos does not have a license. Don’t get robbed like I did by this guy. The one amigo should change the name of his business to One Crook. Again, refer to the pictures to see his caliber of work. You be the judge!

I had this guy out to our house and he spent about an hour measuring and taking notes. He was friendly and ½ hour early. I spoke with him about how I thought it was hard to find contractors and that I like his Unilocal review that mirrored the project I wanted done. He said he liked to have good an bad reviews on his Unilocal page so people would have a total picture of his services. He told me he would have a quote to me that evening which I thought was fast. 2 days later he called to apologize that he didn’t get me the quote and he would do it that evening. A week later no quote. No return of txt message. I am not the first on Unilocal to complain of this issue. I’ll move on to the next amigo.

Roger and his team have done an excellent job in completing MANY tasks at our home. Initially we hired him to install new crown moulding, paint, and replace the windows in ¾ of our house. They did such a great job, in a timely and cost efficient manner, that we hired them to help us remodel our kitchen too(new subfloor, floor, paint, sheetrock)! We really cant say better things about Roger and his team! They will give you a reasonable estimate for the amount of effort and care they put into their work. Roger is a perfectionist and makes sure his clients are happy, satisfied, and the work he completes will last. We will definitely be using Roger again!

I hired them for several repair work at my house. They were nice, on time, and they did good job fixing stuff. There is no doubt about that. They first told us that they charge $ 60 hour on the phone. But as they came, it turned out that they charge by each task. They were at my house for just one hour fixing them all, but they charged more than triple of their hourly fee… I also ask them to estimate how much it cost to paint some rooms of my house and also install shelves in the closet. This is so funny, but their estimate was way higher than estimates I received from 2 professional painting companies(from 4 to 5 star Unilocal reviewed companies) as well as custom shelving company(5 star from Unilocal). From this experience, I realized that Handyman is not necessarily cheaper than hiring professional companies, and I also started to learn how to fix stuff through Youtube and see if it is something I can do on my own.

I’ll called the amigos. One of the guys came out and was nice enough. When we talked I told him I wanted to start as soon as possible. He said he would email me his quote. 3 days went by, called him, said he would email it to me that night, 2 days, called him, said he would email me again that night, texted him 4 days later. He finally said he wasn’t interested in the job. So now I am month behind, and he strung me along for nearly 2 weeks. Horrible experience.

I hired ‘Three Amigos’ to paint the inside of my house(three stories) and they did it at a very reasonable price in good time. They also replaced my floorboards, refinished all of my doors, and installed window trimming for new windows that I replaced which made all the difference. I can say that I was very pleased with the work, and they did a magnificent job!!!

We hired Roger to replace our back door because he did work for some of our neighbors and his bid was lower then another bid. My husband’s father is a general contractor so we have pretty high expectations on quality and Roger met them. I was truly impressed because our floor slants to the left and the side of the door jam is bowed out so it was a difficult fit. He carefully measured, cut and shaved the door and it fits perfectly! We just had our front door replaced by a «professional» door company and they miss-cut too much off the top left(didn’t account for the floor slant) and tried to hide their mistake by tilting the door so it won’t close properly. Not only does Roger output high quality work, he is on-time, personable and on top of communication. Nuf said.
