History

Established in 2011.

After planning my own wedding, I discovered my passions for sign making, lettering, and modern calligraphy. I then started working with an established event planner in the Bay Area, and once I had enough experience under my belt, I decided to open Steele My Heart, as a way to connect with brides and provide my services to those who are searching for something unique and special on their Big Day!

Happily married to my best friend, and father to our 3 furr babies (we love cats!).

I love classic rock and roll, the beach, road trips and adventures, visiting the Alameda Antique Fair, happy hours with friends, craft beer, Incubus, watercolor, travel, did I mention cats?

I like to have fun, even while I’m working, and I love meeting new people, and collaborating to make something truly unique! I love to see others enjoy my art, and I feel that a wedding can be a piece of art, that expresses who those to individuals are, and what is meaningful to them!
