Not very impressed with this company. I was interested in working for a company that wanted to hire me. Then the company backed out because Snelling wanted 6 grand to buy me out of the contract. On top of that, my job recruiter decided to believe the lies that the company told about me and she didn’t believe a word I said. I thought agencies were supposed to help you find a job. All they seem to care about is making money, not helping you find work. You become a number in thier system.

Snelling is a horrible agency. They offer jobs with not so great rates of pay and not many hours. Trust me if your young and want a good warehouse or good job period DO NOT work with these people.
I worked with 3 agencies and this is the worst no joke.
I recommend AEROTEK agency in alameda. Great agency and great jobs .
They started me with a warehouse job with 12 $ and second job was 11.50 $… while snellings warehouse positions they offered were 8.50−10 $ …

Snelling is GREAT!
Not only did they treat me as if I was their number one priority, they also found me great job! When I went to the office to register, I was taken care of immediately — filled out all the paperwork, did all the tests and talked to Kelly so she got an idea what I am looking for. =)
It only took a couple months (not even that long) to find me a job where I can get my foot in the door and have the opportunity to move up within the company. I was so surprised to find a job so quickly since I just graduated from college, have no work experience, and not to mention the horrible economy at the moment!
Also, before finding my current position — I was always working in the meantime set up with another job. I feel l was always taken care of by the people of Snelling and was never forgotten about =)
Again, Snelling is great! I definitely recommend the service! =)

The least I could say is that the front desk person was very friendly and helpful.
I found it rather annoying that when applying to the agency, you’d think they be bit more on the ball. Yes they told me they were a little under-​staff and that it would take longer to process my paperwork, but if they figure that I’m under-​qualified for their clients, they’d tell me sooner.
After I went in to take the test, they told me I did well and that they would contact me in a week or so for a interview with a job recruiter. I ended up calling them 3 weeks later to find the status and was then told that I wasn’t qualified enough for the people they hired out to. It almost made me feel that they didn’t even bother to look at my resume, which told them my experience. And if they couldn’t take the time to do that, could they have really taken the time to help me?
