Jim… I’d have to agree with you on both counts… I’ve also had my fair share of Pacificare therapists… not all particularly stellar, but Dr. Perna (PsyD) is definitely one of the best therapists I’ve had. He is very personable and more importantly doesnt spit out the usual therapy cliches which is refreshing.
The office is located on Park Street which yields a good stroll with unusual little shops to browse after an intense session. There is also a Peets and a Starbucks a block away to seal the deal…

I have had such an awesome experience with dr. perna and i thought id share it on Unilocal!although my other experience with pacificare has almost driven me to therapy, in and of itself, i really lucked out with dr. perna. he has been one of the best therapists ive ever had. he has night appointments. theres parking albeit, a small amount, and the office is above a palm reader, so if you dont like what dr perna has to say, you can consult madame rosa!
