I came to a Unilocal food truck event and fell in love with everything I ordered here. Who ever is cooking the food here sure has an excellent palate. I can’t say enough how much I liked their pickled eggs with dill sauce. I would love to have the recipe! Their hush puppies with honey butter and shrimp with tangy cocktail sauce were all to die for! My only regret is that I wish I ordered food just from the Scolari’s truck. The others were bland in taste compared to what I tried at Scolari’s!

Great find at the Alameda Antique Fair. The trailer they use as their food truck was original and fun and is what drew me in to check out their menu. Super eclectic menu which stood out from the other mobile food vendor selections. I got a bagel sandwich — smoked salmon, red onion, jalapeño goat cheese(YUM) all on an everything bagel. I also shared some hush puppies that came with jalapeño butter. The hush puppies had corn and green onion mixed in the fluffy bread and the butter was perfect! They were crunchy, and not too oily at all. Might try to make my own rendition of these at home. Food came out in a couple minutes. They served coke and diet coke in glass bottles — coke from the glass bottle always tastes better and it fit nicely with the retro theme they had going with the trailer. Now to try the restaurant!

AWESOME!!! Just happened to be driving by and the airstream caught my attention. Great service, and the food is really top notch. I got the caprese sandwich with chicken and everything about it was perfect and super flavorful. You have got to stop by and try Scolari’s!

It’s back! It only comes on Fridays for now, but you should flood them with an eff-load of business so they’ll realize how much we love them and they’ll come back more. They might also have a keg of root beer. :D

Just as good as their restaurant and ½ mile from my house. Beautiful views and great food! What more could you want?

Saw them on HB parkway after dropping off my son at school later in the morning. Unbelievable stuff. Got the caprese sandwich and well prepared. So happy they were there and hopefully every Friday when I work remote.

I stopped by the other day to check it out [didn’t have enough money], as well as driving by it everyday on my way out to school. Just really wanted to applaud the idea of a great place getting a truck and putting it out in the middle of an Industrial/working district. If you have worked out here long enough you know that the closest thing to food is either Hegenberger about 7 – 10 minutes away depending on the construction that day or going the opposite way to South Shore or Park street. So this truck must be like heaven for you all. I’ve only saw this truck stationed at one place, not sure why but hoping they will drive around the neighborhood maybe closer to the Raider’s training facility because there are more little businesses out there too. I’m sure people will appreciate the move! I’ll be back to update my review to the 5 stars to see if the food is up to par but for now, good idea guys!

I used to dream that I’d own an Airstream and travel around visiting State Parks and beaches with my then young children. Then two of them turned into difficult teenagers and so then I used to dream that I’d just take the still young WC and visit State Parks and beaches. Then school and realistic finances started canceling out that thought but I am still dreaming about owning an Airstream someday. I’m odd, I guess. The closest I can get to any Airstream these days is the wonderful Scolari’s Harbor Bay food truck Airstream(or RV clone) that is very close to my house. They have been seriously feeding me through tough times. All of the staff there(yo’ Adrian!) are so friendly. And the food, it varies and it’s often not what the main restaurant offers. Of course, they have the base restaurant’s standard delicious burgers, fried hot dogs, potato nuggets(scampi or buffalo), and pulled pork sammies. Good thing they don’t offer the restaurant strombolis because that might turn me into a major thief hoarding and stacking those strombolis in my fridge as coveted trophies. This is because I would have somehow made all of the staff look the other way while I loaded up and ran away with my stromboli loot in a big pillow case. However, this Airstream crew has also ventured out with their own daily specials. They offer stuffed pita specials. I enjoyed the chopped lamb one, and am jonesing to try the meatball version next. They have creative Mediterranean salads as well. They offered a fried chicken and waffle special one day. Loved the juicy and well battered fried chicken but my waffles were charred on one side. Oh well. I also tried their vegetarian roasted butternut squash paella. That was very tasty although I cheated with my leftovers and added chicken apple sausage to the mix. Yesterday, I couldn’t make up my mind on what to order. I knew I wanted one of the sandwich options. The chef immediately pointed me to his favorite, which was a HUGE turkey sandwich on house-made bread. It was SO good! It was a true«Dagwood.» I was happy for the suggestion and it was serious healthy sustenance for both my lunch and din-din. Get there early, or you might get stuck behind some corporate business park manager placing a bulk order for his team meeting as things run out. The wait is worth it though and the Scolari’s workers are so nice. I’d like to help them cook someday in that Airstream but at the rate I’m eating their food, I don’t know if I’m gonna’ fit in their truck if I’m ever invited!

I work right across from this hippie truck and I have got to say, I am so glad we finally have food venue in the business district. Believe it or not, we are right by Peet’s HQ, but they do not serve coffee or have a shop! For lunch most of my coworkers who did not bring lunch would have to drive all the way to south shore. This truck is definitely a life saver. Although their menu is quite small(since their truck is small) they are definitely all very delicious. Their menus change all the time so you can have variety as well. One time my coworkers got the chicken and waffles, it smelled so good! I was pretty jealous. The time I tried it I got the chicken and veggies. The veggies were tender but still had a slight crunch to it. Whatever that seasoned the veggies was so bomb. I ate all the veggies before I could dig into the chicken. The chicken was good white meat chicken that was oh so tender. I hear that they are famous for their burgers, so I will definitely try that next time. This truck is definitely a high end/gourmet. If you work around the area, you can see the line during the lunch hour.

Just as good as the normal location, but with a smaller selection
