If you ever want to buy a house in competitive crazy Alameda market, Ringo is your man. We were working with a different Agent but when we met him at an open house, he was so knowledgeable, friendly and trust worthy that we decided to hire him as our agent.
He has so much experience and knowledge in the Alameda market that after interviewing us, he could exactly tell us when the right house came to the market and helped us get our dream house in our first bid. He was there all along the process, at any time and always reachable thru’ the phone or email. He was also so helpful in remodeling and guiding us what we should do before we move in. I can go on for ever but if you are serious, want someone whom you will trust for your life, work with Ringo and he will make it happen. We are really blessed and thank Ringo so much for what he has done to us.

Ringo lacks the type of integrity I would look for in an agent. I was working with an agent when I came to his open house. He suggested I use him because he could give me the «inside» on the sale. So, I decided to work with him. He told me I needed to offer at least $ 1.1M to get the house. This was nearly $ 200k over asking. I felt that was too high and offered $ 1M. I didn’t get the house and it turns out the house sold to his friend for just over $ 1M. So, I have learned his «inside» was for the inside of his pockets. I would not advise anyone to do business with Ringo.

Ringo is hands-​down the best realtor in Alameda. We had been in the market for a home in Harbor Bay Island for over a year. After losing several bids and not knowing the best way to get our foot through the door, we finally hired Ringo. He knows the market so well that when we wanted to bid higher, he recommended that we didn’t. «Our offer is fair.» How many realtors do you know that would do that?
We won the bid and that’s when Ringo’s skills pulled him past the pack. We were nightmare clients: demanding, mistrusting, and skittish. We contacted him daily about everything from the loan process to the inspections to the the type of landscaping we needed. He always got back to us the same day. We questioned everything that was said and written down. He explained everything to us with the patience of a monastic scholar. (Too much? I can’t help it. I really like the guy.)
When we needed to physically meet, he came to us wherever we happened to be. His customer service was refreshing after dealing with other realtors. He knows the local players so he has access to information the internet can’t give you. He really does have all the qualities of a the perfect realtor.
Ringo is a man of faith (and you’ll know this after his first email) but he’s not narrow minded. He does a lot of business with the East Asian communities but I’ve referred him to all types, straight, gay– it really doesn’t matter. They all have nothing but glowing reviews about him.

Oh my, We have to deal with seller’s agent Ringo Liu. I gave him local knowledge 1 star because he is a nasty agent in Alameda. His responsiveness was poor, he was trying to ignore our agent for questions, so we have to call his manager to deal his unprofessionalism to get the information about the house. When inspector inspected the house and recommended to open a hole for inspection by the heater (which cost $ 100) to open the house and patch, it should have been seller responsibility per contract agreement, instead, he would like to make us pay for the patch. In the end, they were paying for the job. Also, he said the paints and other items are in the house but we do not see any, we called him to point out the location of the items, but he never put any effort to try to help us. After the house got sold, professionally, you would hand the keys personally to the new owner, instead, he just called and place the keys under the doormats. Very poor agent and show no respect. Will NEVER go back to this agent EVER again.
And by the way, this picture of Ringo Liu I posted, he looks a lot older and darker skin. Must have been over 10 years ago. Just saying.
