Mike’s work was outstanding. I reached out to him about re-​painting my kitchen. From the time I contacted him, he was timely, responsive and very professional. His estimate was very reasonable. The day of, he was on time, efficient and his work is impeccable. He kept me posted of his progress throughout the day. When I left in the morning and returned later in the day, I was so excited to see the amazing transformation and how great my kitchen looked in a short period of time. He truly helped me realize the vision I had for my kitchen. Not only is he professional, but also a very nice guy. Mike came to my rescue when I was preparing my house for sale. A contractor who had started the job flaked out on me and with a week to go I found Mike on Unilocal and gave him a call. He not only was able to start the job but he finished it in time and with great quality. Mike’s a jack-​of-​all-​trades; he handled removing window coverings, repairing and repainting the holes left from removing the hardware, repaired and painted interior walls and window sills, repaired exterior dry rot and painted a front door and a garage door. I really appreciated how carefully he prepped everything so that the final result was beautiful. He’s detail-​oriented, cleans up the job as he goes and is genuinely a very pleasant person to work with. And to boot, he was very patient with this rather frazzled house seller! Be sure to pay him more than he quotes you — he’s worth it!

Mike was fantastic! We have completed many home projects with a number of contractors. It is rare to find one from start to finish who does everything well. Mike is one of these rare contractors. From the initial bid, the communication before the project, showing up on time, having a great work ethic, and finishing the job with a high level of quality at a fair price. Mike Moresi is outstanding in every imaginable way. He is honest with a capital T. He even did extra work that wasn’t in the original agreement as we found it was needed (additional repairs). He was very prompt in responding to my original inquiry to determine who should do the work. Our work involved refinishing, repairing, and painting trim on many of the windows in our home. It’s a California bungalow, so there are LOTS of panes to paint around! He was always friendly and courteous. Mike is a great person to work with from beginning to end. He worked every day he agreed to, and displayed a strong work ethic throughout. His prices are reasonable as well. His skills at detailed finish work are also remarkable. I have already asked what other kinds of work he can do, as we will likely be doing some up-​grading of our home in the near future. Hire this guy quick!

Mike is a great resource for painting and work around the house. His number is now in our cell phone. We had him repair and paint a kitchen ceiling where the roof had leaked. He also painted two closets, and removed old bathroom caulk and applied new.
Mike is very respectful of your property — making sure to lay cloths, tape, etc so nothing gets damaged. You’ll feel safe having him in your home. He communicates well. Asks questions about your expectations so everything is clear. Sticks to a budget. Does quality work. We were particularly impressed by the perfect caulking at the tub. Not an easy thing to do, and the quality outcome was something we appreciated.

Mike has helped me with a variety of odd jobs that I had neither the time, talent, nor inclination to do myself. I had a long list of things I needed done, and I thought it would take a few days but he got it all done in one day and did a very good job. He also painted the cabinets and drawers in my downstairs powder room and did excellent work on that. I’m planning to have him paint my upstairs bathroom as well. He charges fair prices and seems like an all around honest and decent guy.

Mike came by and patched some drywall we had torn up when installed new light fixtures, in addition to repairing a spot of drywall that was ruined by a prior tenant. He was prompt, provided fair estimates, worked hard to get the job done, purchased some matching paint for us– overall did a great job to make sure everything was done well and in a timely fashion. He also entertained our dog while working, overall a great experience.

The owner Mike showed up on time, was very professional, and worked fast. We just had a couple small jobs, but he happily knocked them out for us. We will definitely call him again! It’s hard to find a reliable handyman that’s honest. This guy is definitely on the up and up.

Mike is all around great and I highly recommend him. He does high quality work at fair prices– he did an excellent job prepping and painting our front door and siding of our house. We are excited that he is coming back to paint some interior rooms and my list of assorted needed repairs.
Mike gives accurate bids, shows up when he says he will and cleans up. He also is very pleasant to have around, treats me and my kids politely and by name when he sees them.

Mike has been absolutely great to work with. He shows up exactly when he says he will and finished all of the jobs earlier than his estimate. I had him paint three rooms and two of those rooms ended up being a lot more prep work than his original bid and Mike totally rolled with it with no complaints and adjusted his schedule. I asked Mike if he could install privacy film on the bathroom windows which he hadn’t done before. He did his homework and watched several how-​to videos and the completed result was great! I will definitely use Mike again for my handyman and painting needs.

Just moved to Bay Farm Island a little over one year ago. There are many jobs that need to be done that are too small for most contractors to accept. Fortunately Mike Moresi’s flyer showed up in our mail box. The pocket door privacy lock on one bathroom was broken. Mike showed me what to buy, I picked up the new lock myself and he very precisely replaced old with new. There were a few ceramic floor tiles missing under kitchen cabinets. Again we talked, he suggested where I could go to pick up the new tiles, sanded grout caulk, tile spacers and adhesive. He had to come several times after the tiles were placed to build up the layers of caulk. When he finished, it was amazing how well the new tiles and caulk matched the existing. Mike is professional, efficient, and his rates are very reasonable. Couldn’t be happier with these first projects and definitely will continue to use Mike as my «go-​to» handyman.

Several years ago Mike did a residential paint project for me in a craftsman home in Alameda. Mike was painstaking with his work, making sure to do a proper job of removing the many layers of original paint and thorough prep work. The final result was an even and precise paint job. Mike was very professional, stuck to his quote and was reliable and on time. He also did a great clean up and left nothing out of place. Two thumbs up!
