Description

Specialties

Eric At Pacific Crest Canvas gave me a competitive quote on a dodger recover, performed the work on schedule, and surprised me with a couple nice design and material upgrades.

Service and support? After the install, I had trouble closing one of the snaps, securing the dodger to the deck, and Eric came out and replaced it, fast and clean. No worry. No hassle

Good work. Fair Price. On time. I’d use them again.

History

Established in 1983.

Established as Pacific Coast Canvas in 1983, the shop served both the automotive and marine communities, building a reputation with car and yacht dealers as well as individual owners seeking the best custom upholstery and canvas.

In 1992, John Monroe, an experienced bluewater sailor with over 40,000 ocean miles, purchased the business and a new dedication to design, service, and quality was established by focusing strictly on marine services.

Pacific Crest Canvas was renamed in 2009, and John found himself with the unquenchable desire to once again cruise the seas. In 2011, John found Eric McKinley to learn the trade and continue the craft. After over 150 hours of hands-on personal training on projects ranging from a Catalina 38 to a Tayana 48, John was satisfied with Eric’s ability to craft every type of custom marine covering.

With John’s blessings, Eric McKinley continues the Pacific Crest Canvas heritage of of the finest hand-crafted canvas in the Bay Area.
