My husband and I purchased a house in Alameda in June 2013 with Michael as our agent. There wasn’t much inventory at the time and Alameda is already a highly competitive market. He worked quickly with us to put an offer on a short sale right after it was listed (within 2 days). His ability to act quickly helped us to get a great deal. He also helped us by negotiating credits that made the deal much easier for us to handle financially. He kept us updated throughout the process and was easy to work with. We likely wouldn’t have been able to successfully purchase the house without an experienced, motivated agent like Michael. We highly recommend Michael and plan to work with him again in the future.

Would not recommend this agent. Follow thru was not good. Bait and switch to get clients interested in a property without disclosing all the details up front. Some items were flagged as negotiable, then our house was suddenly «as is» once we were too far into the process to re-​negotiate. Prep (interior paint and floor refinish) to sell the house was done very poorly and had to be redone once we bought the house. What a waste of effort. Should have been done right the first time. Our experience with this agent as the selling agent of the home we bought was full of facades and not honest and up front. The market in Alameda is hot, hot, hot so choose your agent carefully. Someone with integrity and working morals is a better bet.
