Himalayan Eyebrow Threading

Do not come here for Henna until they have their stuff together. They do not have a professional henna artist– I feel bad for the girl– not sure if she’s being forced or what– she did an awful job. Also– they put chemical based henna on me — who the heck puts chemicals in henna?! They asked me if I was allergic to anything and I said no– then asked if I feel any stinging sensation and I said no– because that’s strange — why would I feel any sensations with the henna I always put my hand??? It wasn’t until I smelled my hand that I realized this was a chemical based henna (this was after I left the store). Mid-​way through the design I washed it off because it was absolutely horrible and nothing like the design I had in front of her. You can see the photo u have attached. I’ve gone to professionals and they do an amazing job– I was happy I found something close by vs going to Fremont but I’ll stick to Fremont from now on. I feel awful for the young girl who’s trying to make a living doing henna — but she’s not good and the store owners most likely know that already. It’s really unfair to fool people into thinking this is a professional part of their business. Hopefully it becomes professional. All I know is that I have a heavily stained hand with an awful design right before a holiday for me — and henna should not stain this dark in a few minutes but since it’s chemical based it did. Hoping I do not get any awful skin reaction to this.
I have higher than «white people» standards for henna also– most people might not know good henna if you’re not familiar with it or didn’t grow up with it. But people — you can do better. Trust me.

My wife came home today with the most amazing henna art! It looks hot! Never thought i would be into something like that, but she loves it and so do I. We really love the owners and have frequented their shop since we moved to Alameda. I think my wife will continue to support this little shop’s new endeavor into the henna experience.

Beautiful shop with warm welcoming atmosphere. The shop owner’s are so friendly and the services start at $ 8! Couldn’t ask for a better price and location. Beautiful Nepali clothing as well as crafts are sold at this location as well. Check it out!
Was lucky enough to watch the henna artist do some beautiful free hand designs today (9÷23÷2015) Took a couple of pics. The young lady completed the smaller freehand design in 5 minutes. Not really sure what is considered to be a «Professional Henna Artist», but this young lady is very creative and very sweet.
