Hana is awesome! I always get my haircut at this place. I usually call in the day of and Hana gets me in and out of there looking so fresh fresh so clean clean! The price is really great if you want a cheap cut for guys .
Always ask for Hana if you want a cut. She is very talkative and you will leave with a smile on your face, that’s for sure.

After reading all the fantastic reviews, I had to get a mani-​pedi from Trang!
True to what previous clients had to say, she did not disappoint. She’s definitely a nail art perfectionist: gentle, patient, and meticulous. I really appreciated that she took her time to give me a flawless Shellac mani-​pedi.
The salon is a small, no-​frills establishment and because of her excellent reputation, Trang tends to be booked so I highly recommend making an appointment at least a day in advance.

I have been getting my haircut at Central Salon for at least seven years. Hannah is the owner of the shop and the one who cuts my hair. I like Hannah for many reasons but I’m giving a high review because she’s good at her craft, keeps her appointments on schedule, has interesting conversations, keeps her shop clean and has low rates. Hannah gave my son his first haircut and is always patient nice to him when she cuts his hair. I believe she could raise her prices by 20% and people would still get great value. For example she only charges $ 5. for cutting my sons hair. I know a quality cut and because she is so focused and detailed on him even though he is only 5 years old that I give her a tip of 100% ($ 5.) and still feel like is a bargain. I recommend her for men’s and kid cuts but have to assume that her styles for women are also quality.

Best acrylic nails I’ve had in a long time. She did exactly as I asked and I was very happy with the results. Her prices are right too!

If you are considering getting your nails done here, do it!!! Trang is amazing, very detailed and talented. I came in for an Acrylic Fill-​in and my nails looked better than when I had them originally done back in NY! She did a beautiful glitter ombré with gel and although I love them so much I can’t wait for my nails to grow so she can do them again!

Trang is GREAT at what she does, hands down! The sweetest lady ever. Followed her from Classy Nails, and I must say I’m glad that I did. I walk out satisfied and happy EVERY TIME with fresh full set & flawless gel color. Anyone who needs a manicure/​pedi, full set, ect… I recommend Trang. She won’t disappoint you, that’s for sure.

Trang does an excellent job on my mani&pedi. I have always had an issue with not feeling comfortable at other salons. Trang is attentive and caring. I was able to relax and vocalize my wants and needs. Quiet and clean atmosphere. I enjoy coming to her salon!

I walked in here on a week day and it was quiet.
I got a gel mani and regular french pedi for $ 40!
Seems like a great deal.
The ladies were friendly and did a wonderful job. The salon is small, I will call next time for an appointment. They have a loyalty card — after 10 stamps you get $ 10 off! That’s awesome!

I have been a loyal customer of Central Beauty for years. Hannah is a very personable owner and does amazing hair cuts, color and styling. She is great with nails too and has brought a new technician on named Trang. Trang is friendly and I’ve enjoyed her mani/​pedi and massage. This is my go-​to place for my hair styling, nails and my kids love coming here for haircuts too. It is relaxing, small and not loud. Hannah has tea available and all the latest magazines. I am so happy they are in our town!

I have always love my nails by trang she is awesome! She use to be at classy nails in alameda but i followed her here. I hate always having to find new nail lady that can do my nails exactly how I like it. She does a great acrylic gel and very good at shaping. So trang is the one to go to!

We are big fans of Hanna and Sofia but only 3 stars because Sofia has left and we don’t know where she went. Does anybody know?

I went to Central Beauty Salon because it was recommended to me by my friend. I have only had about 3 professional mani/​pedis in my life, but my friend’s nails always look so good, I decided to try the gel manicure.
I was surprised that, on a holiday week, they were able and willing to do my mani/​pedi on the same day that I called. The two ladies are very sweet, friendly, and gentle. They did a lovely job for a great price.
I am definitely going to be a regular customer now! :)

I recently moved across the country and desperately needed to find a reasonably priced salon that could handle doing my long acrylics which I keep between 1 and 1.5″ long, and that wouldn’t take up hours of my life having them done. I also didn’t want to have to go into Oakland, and most places I checked out in Alameda either took too long, charged way too much (one place wanted to charge $ 65!!!), or simply did not know how to do nails this length. I was at my wit’s end when my boyfriend recommended this place to me from reviews he read, and I am so glad i did!
First of all, I love no-​nonsense salons that don’t have a lot of frills. I despise the whole «day spa» environment because they just want to gouge you for every little thing. i don’t need the salon to smell of lavender petals picked by young virgins. I just want my nails done so the smell of acetone won’t bother me. I also love it when my nail techs are Vietnamese because they always have done the best job, and I also get to watch Vietnamese TV and hear their music while I am having my nails done. Sophia did a magnificent job with my acrylics and a full set of long 1″ tips only set me back 30, and took 90 min. total.
She said my fill would only be 40 min which is perfect considering when I went to have a fill done a few months ago at happy Nails at the Shoreline Plaza it took over 2 hrs for a fill! I’m really pleased with Central nails and I’m happy to report that i have finally found my new nail salon. I will always miss LA Nails in Flint, MI, but this is a good replacement!

Hana and Sophia are wonderful! This is a great place for a reasonably-​priced, well done manicure and pedicure. If you are looking for a noisy salon with lots of chattering technicians, avoid this place! This is a peaceful place, and the ladies speak with the clients in friendly, comfortable tones, and otherwise focus on their very nice work. They carry a full range of OPI polishes, and also do gel nails, Acrylics, French, Shellac and decorations.
Central Beauty Salon is actually the name of this place — because besides every type of nails, they also offer a comprehensive range of other beauty treatments — hair wash, cut and style for men and women and children, hair color, massage, makeup and permanent makeup, facials, and hair removal to name a few. It’s an aesthetically decorated salon, run by very charming ladies and I am so happy they are there. :-)
