Specialties
Love to sing? I believe everyone can and should discover the potential of their own unique voice. Singing is a way to express yourself and engage in the music you love.
I teach students ages 10-Adult to establish a healthy singing technique that can be applied to all styles of singing, including classical, musical theater, jazz, folk, and pop.
I enjoy working with students of all ages and experience levels, from beginning to advanced. Since lessons are one-on-one I’m able to individually tailor my teaching to your specific needs and experience level. I’ve successfully worked with singers preparing for auditions, singers preparing lead roles, choral singers, and singers in bands who want to increase their range and feel less strain on their voice. And I love working with adult beginners who have decided that now is the time to start lessons!
History
Established in 1999.
I have taught voice lessons at Google, the University of Minnesota (Twin Cities), Myriad Music School, and the Community School of Music and Arts, as well as maintaining my private studio. I’m frequently invited to give workshops on vocal technique at high schools and professional choirs throughout the Bay Area.
