Alameda B&D did an awesome job supplying us with five dozen bagels for our Christmas brunch. The bagels were ready to pick up early in the morning. The cream cheese was rich and delicious too. Our party of 30 had a great time making their bagels with all the fixings. Thank you for your great service and consistently good product. ABD is a great local business and I will continue to refer people to their business.

Great customer service. Absolutely outstanding. I never hesitate to invite people to meet me here for an informal business meeting. I love supporting a small local business like this that makes me feel welcome and appreciated as a customer.

There were still bagels, but they had no donuts by 9am on a Friday morning. They were nice about it. Not sure how often it happens(lack of donuts, I mean, not the niceness). The $ 2 apple strudel(pricey for a donut shop) in lieu of a donut tasted a bit like socks.

So I missed breakfast and wanted a bagel with veggies etc on it for breakfast. Stop by this morning, fresh bagel, fresh veggies on it(good crunch), large coffee and, when I get to the car, I discover a donut hole in there. Wanted a donut, looked at the donuts while she made my bagel and was tempted but no I’m an adult and shouldn’t be eating donuts on a random Wednesday, but bam-one little bite of donut as a surprise. It was perfect. Yum.

Walked over here on a Sunday morning. While the service was very good and the counter person friendly, the donuts were mediocre. Perhaps, it was because we came in about 10am and they had been out since early morning? The glazed ones were pretty good, but the buttermilk and old fashioned donuts were teetering on the stale side. You do get free donut holes with your order, which is a nice touch.

A cute little spot that just opened up in Alameda(with perfect timing for us, as another local spot was just shuttered by the health department, yikes!). Service is friendly and generous, with every order being given a complimentary donut hole. Their donuts aren’t too sweet, are nice and fluffy, and very reasonably priced. Check it out!

Been going to Alameda bagel for a few weeks now on the week ends and the people and food are outstanding definitely one of the best donut shops I have been to in a long time. The 2 that work their I believe the owners are so nice And my 6 year old daughter loves it because how nice they are to her and they gave her a donut hole with her order, it just makes her happy. Thank you Alameda bagel for the good food and the attention you give your customers.

If you like donuts, this is the place. Plus Sidney and Kim are always very attentive and nice. I love stopping by before going to work and have a cup of French or Columbian toast coffee and a donut, and have a friendly conversation with any of them.

Alameda B & D takes over Boogie Woogie Boy. space looks the same. little remodeling done? didn’t peruse much. spent time checking menu, pricing menu: sammies, bagel, donuts. eats: glazed donut(.85?) + «everything» bagel(?) =1.92 –glazed donut melted in mouth, free donut hole too, 4.5 stars -«everything» bagel not so flavorful, mostly garlic taste –crunchy when toasted, insides not mushy, 3.5 stars. crumbs: –not sure about sammies usually skip at donut, bagel places. –fast, smiling, courteous service.

Alameda Bagels and Doughnuts used to be Boogie Woogie Bagle Boy, and I loved this establishment to get a croissant sandwich. Since the business has changed, it has gone wayyy down in the sandwich department. I hate to pick on people, I really do, but there is a young girl I see working there all the time, and I think she has never eaten a sandwich in her life. I swung by to get a tuna sandwich but they were all out of tuna(at least she warned me this time instead being half way into making my sandwich and then realizing they were out of tuna.) No big deal out of tuna, so I ordered a veggie instead. What did this veggie sandwich consist of? Cream cheese, tomato, lettuce, and more tomato. The picture on the wall shows the veggie with a plethora of other vegetables on it. I have worked customer service all of my life, and it can be a hard job, but there is a real lack of communication here. She could have told me that they were out of cucumbers, sprouts, ect. but instead, I get a surprise sub par sandwich. For doughnuts and bagels, this place is fine, but it is no longer my go to sandwich place, which makes me a bit sad.

Yay for a real donut place in Alameda that accepts cards! I finally got a chance to check it out and the donuts were well priced and fantastic. This is definitely my go-to place now.

This family owned business is my favorite spot for bagels in Alameda. The bagels are fresh and full of flavor. Our favorites are the jalapeño and the blueberry. Their donuts are tasty too!
