Meet the Business Owner

Wafa C.

Business Owner

My name is Wafa Chandler. I was born in a small village in Lebanon and grew up in Beruit, where I spent much of my time in the kitchen helping my mom cook. I migrated to the US with my family when I was a teenager.

I always dreamt of opening a small Lebanese restaurant because I love the way food brings people together, and I enjoy sharing food from my heritage with those around me.

In 1996, with the support of my friends and family, I was able to finally quit my desk job and pursue my dream. I created a menu including all of mine and my mom’s favorite recipes and opened Wafa’s Restaurant in August of 1996.
